Adam looked around. The battlemap turned into a firework show as he looked at all the different fronts, they weren't getting close to the moons or the planet outside of the one ship Astral marked to let by. "Astrid, redirect the forces to the third sector, mercenaries are leaking through!"
"I can't! I am out of forces that aren't currently engaged! It's too much, JUST WIN!" Astrid slammed her arms into the wall of her cooling pod as she blanked out all other sounds that weren't the robotic fighter teams or ships as they kept up and held an entire sector to itself and helped out with the other three sectors with the spare ships.
"This is Viper, whose target is first?" He commented on the channel as it was too quiet. The refraction tunnel charged up and fired a whip like attack that froze the Empire's ships.
"Sector two and sub section thirteen, the Empire's capital ship is down, we need to take out the Porcelain Marvel. The Ambassador is en route, link up with it and take that fucking thing out!" Shiro directed them as the Vipers stayed in the shielding of the Ambassador.
"Once we get close enough, engage thrusters on full, Viper Seven, take fourteen others and destroy their engines, the rest with me and we are taking down their bridge!" Viper spoke as all wings gave the green light on understanding as the escort ships with the Ambassador kept splitting off and taking on the other ships. Being able to win one on one was an advantage they had.
They got into position as the Poreclien Marvel opened its hatch and fired on the Ambassador with its turbo laser. It took the hit as the shield dropped, the greatest ability the ship had was stripped for a moment too long as it took all the fire possible as the Viper wings engaged.
"The Ambassador is down, the Viper wings are sitting ducks!" Adam shouted as the Poreclien Marvel started to explode from all sides, the super weapon destroyed as the Independent ships started to bombard the Ambassador as its hull held firm.
The Marvel exploded and pushed back the Ambassador as Viper looked around. "ALL WINGS, SCATTER AND START TAKING ON THE INDEPENDENT SHIPS, THEY CAN'T HIT US, KEEP GOING FULL SPEED!" Viper yelled as the viper squadron split apart and started to tear apart the Empire and Independent fleets.
Kaenester stood at the bridge of his flagship as two vipers charged in and were destroyed. "Viper's twenty six and twenty eight are down! Pull out of there!" Adam yelled at them.
"NO! Not a chance sir! You trained us to take down these ships and we need all available forces elsewhere, we know the sacrifice right!" A crowd of cheers came through as Viper spoke to Adam. He banked left and rolled around Kaenester's capital ship and disabled it. "DIVERT ALL FORCES AWAY FROM THIS FROM THIS FIGHT WE CAN HOLD THEM OFF! REPEAT! ALL FORCES IN THIS SUBSECTION DIVERT OUTSIDE OF THE VIPER WINGS!"
Adam gasped as the Vipers went into their own channel. "FUCK! All diverting forces go to the first moon, they are under heavy fire and currently are being boarded!" Adam looked across all the moons as the fleets kept getting spread, two more viper wings were destroyed as Adam started to melt his own head. Lucky walked over and slapped him.
'You realize all we have to do is buy as much time as possible.' Lucky signed as Adam took a deep breath.
"Right!" Adam gathered himself as Lucky redirected everything that was needed across the solar system. The clones on the moons just had to buy time. "All forces, fan out, you need to start taking two ships on at a time!"
Each ship split off and spaced out more as the carriers started leaking to the moons and the planet to deploy the troops aboard them. Each one that slipped through would become immediately grounded into the moon due to the barrier that was set up. It wasn't just the power station on each one that applied the pressure to bring them down. The barrier itself created a gravitational pull directly downward thanks to Astral creating it that way.
As for the spacing of the ships, the first generation ships were able to hold up and were for close protection of the planets to not let anything get close to the Merle while the second and third generations were being used for the actual combat. The second and third generation ships went through two of the fleets while heavily damaged.
"The shipyard can repair any damages, cycle out five at a time at most." Adam was creating a queue of repairs as all of them, the viper wings took out the Empire ships with heavy losses, only half of the wings remain as they distract the Independents.
Jaqueis and his fleets could not make it past Astrid and her robotic fleet, as with each ship damaged, one was able to replace it, the only way she would lose is if she ran out of materials, the factories were working on overdrive as she was running them at the same time.
"Groups two and three, regroup together and make a push at the opening we have of the mercenary faction! They are launching mechs to the moons and you need to stop them at whatever the cost. Group one, repeat your status." Adam was communicating as Lucky, Pollen and Ally moved group four in a defensive fan position as the four other factions pushed in all at once. Using the first generation ships as their reinforcements as the second and third generation ships were taking a beating.
"So many ships are leaking through to the moons! We need to allow for the Merle to use its point defense turrets to help!" Anders stormed the bridge as she gave the green light for Merle as he started to fire his main artillery cannons on some of the ships that were leaking through. The refraction tunnel is quiet.
"MERLE! Full access to the Refraction tunnel is allowed!" Adam shouted as the AI cracked its knuckles, the AI turning blue from his normal red glow as red charged up on both sides of the refraction tunnel. Opening fire it was firing in bursts and taking out a single ship with each shot, keeping its charge up and its rate of fire.
"Current battle estimates are currently seventy five hundred to one, we have trimmed a decent amount but; we can't keep this up indefinitely can we?" Shiro asked as she realized the one fleet that could save them as their shielding on the Merle took a heavy hit from their superweapon moon.
"Everlast take your fleet and destroy that moon!" Adam shouted as Lucky directed them. The second best fighter squadron was with them as it went full speed at the moon. It aimed another shot at the moon as it missed the Everlast who blasted an entry hole to board the station. With the fighter's job done, they started to help out Astrid and her fleet.
