James stood still as the guards began to open fire on him. Astral stood tall with his shield blocking the bullets and having them go into the walls as Jaimie stood on the other side of James. Cleaving apart the guards with her spear.
James fell to his knees as the blood started to soak into his pants. Astral's Muramasa clicked as the seven guards fell to the ground in one thud. Jaimie turned around and lifted up his chin as he looked up teary eyed. "Why did it have to be the kind soul, why not me, the murderer."
Astral felt this sorrow for James, someone he thought that was lost was taken in front of him. James slowly stood up. "He was working on a campaign to make us martyrs and turn the people against the government." He wiped his eyes dry as Angel slowly waddled towards them. "We can't let it go to waste can't we?"
Astral and Jaimie both nodded their heads and agreed to get the information from this place to his dad and create chaos. They walked out the front door as their clothes were covered in blood as the crowd forming outside watched them walk slowly away.
James stopped as the other three walked a little bit ahead. His ears twitched as he turned around, the crowd was following close behind him. "I lost one of the closest people in my life. My violence is proof of my vengeance. And I hope once you walk those halls you see the true animal was you guys all along." They were speechless as Angel tugged at his soaked sleeve.
"Willow came with me. She needs to be found." Angel whispered as Astral tapped her shoulder holding out his phone that showed a private medical room. Willow was there with steady vitals on the machines.
"She made it. Took down the helicopter but lost her arm." Astral showed a picture of the crash site. "We need to protect any more of your friends." Angel took off as Astral, Jaimie and James chased after her. Busting down the door to their hideout Finnick and the homeless man were playing card games.
"Whew." Angel breathed a sigh of relief as Finnick looked over. "Hey, thank you for watching him. Sorry for any hassle." Astral, Jaimie and James entered the hideout as Finnick walked over.
"Who are these strangers?" Finnick tapped on Astral's nose, outstretching his arm.
"We are these two parents." Astral crouched down a little bit as Finnick dropped his act.
"Well, that's the reason you have been so hard to find." Finnick sounded normal. No kid act, no changing of his voice and no up pitch. "I had to alter myself so much and hid so well. That I did something even the seventeen thought impossible!"
"BACK UP!" Astral stretched out his arms shielding the three behind him as Finnick lifted his arm up. The golden gauntlet shining, glimmering with gems all over it. Finnick snapped as Astral surrounded the five of them inside of the pocket dimension and made him and Lone swap spots.
A yellow explosion surrounded the two as Astral took the entire attack. His clothes singed from the blast. Astral tore off his jacket and shirt as it was burning him.all that rested on him was his necklace and his wedding ring as Jaimie, James and Angel were all sprinting to catch up. "You don't mind if I change quickly?" Astral ripped his pants off and put on a pair of shorts as Finnick rolled his eyes.
"Electricity does hurt you, that's funny. It's one of the two things I specialize in." Finnick chuckled as Astral cracked his knuckles.
"You care to monologue more or can I beat your shit in and make you senseless?" Astral took a tight stance as Finnick smiled.
"Nah, I don't do the close range nonsense, that's why my other speciality is so good." Finnick had a magic circle form around the entire pocket dimension. Jaimie stopped as clones of Finnick appeared all around them. Their bodies were filled out and well formed.
The clones started attacking Angel James and Jaimie as Astral was visible everywhere at once. Jaimie understood the mission at hand as Astral was going all out for once. The original Finnick laughed. "You can't possibly beat me. No magic circle users, let alone a member of the seventeen have died to a non circle user." Finnick had a sudden sense of deja vu.
'One was stopped a very long time ago, that's how I earned my spot. But that presence is here, why?' Finnick had a shudder about him as he refocused his efforts. His clones were completely swarming them as his magic wasn't even needed to kill them. "Ah, once you die and I take your glove I can use it to condense your soul and add it to mine."
James was having an easy time keeping up, his stacks were still flowing from earlier as his pitch black hair was slowly turning white like his tail. The three clones attacking him couldn't get close to him without being slashed.
Angel was able to keep pace with one clone despite the lower stacks and the slower speed. Was it toying with her? Each swing of her spear was parried perfectly as she could rebound and counter. Each attack went nowhere as it was a stalemate.
Jaimie was taking on five clones at once as her spear was moving faster than either of the twins could process. The blinding speed was killing some of the boundless clones as each time one died, three took it's place as Jaimie was able to predict their attacks. Their martial art was something her and Astral practiced several times. Each blow was met by the tip of the spear.
Astral stood in front of the original Finnick as he scoffed. "You really think even if you can keep my clones at bay you could kill me?" A ball of lightning was sent at Astral as he focused it into the necklace.
"Tickle me impressed but that is new." Finnick opened an orange portal and pulled May through it as the battle paused for a millisecond as Astral's iris cracked a gold rim sealed it. His magic circle formed through the entire pocket dimension.
