Chapter 170 - Subsequent Fall Part 17: The Flop

Astral and Jaimie looked out of the bridge as the ship was still fully operational. Valkira was nowhere to be seen as the two looked around. "What happened? We weren't out for that long." Astral guided his hair back into place as his clones that were helping run the ship faded.

"No, something else took Valkira away. Sensors indicate a large military force about to attack the ship." Alexa blabbered to them as Jaimie and Astral rushed out.

"She can handle God Emperor correct?" Jaimie asked as they slid out of the landing ramp and saw the full imperial legion of godhood. Only the best on the battlefield got to be a part of this elite crew and even fewer saw battle.

"Ah shit." Astral handed his sniper over to his partner as she took it and loaded it. "Targets are marked and weak points locked in." He unsheathed his katana as the click was heard around the battlefield. "Kill all of these fucks." With his breathing form he blitzed into the center of the legion as they all were shocked as Jaimie started to pick them off nine at a time between each reload.

Their armor resisted Astral's pure strength to start. But his blade became too much as it freely sliced through their armor like butter. The movement of Astral turned into more of a dance as he diced through their heavy tanks meant to blast Jaimie away.

She stood back behind cover as she picked away any clean shots with opportunity as the rounds she used were turning the armored men all using their swords versus Astral into a red paste along the moon's ash gray ground.

Astral's blade became locked between three different angles from the godhood soldiers as Astral flicked his wrist. "I wouldn't try to stop me." The scythe dropped into his other hand as he decapitated the three who bound his sword. The fear of death consuming them from the scythe as Astral's eyes flicked from cyan to red.

"No spells and he is still dominating them in a one sided affair. I could too, right?" Jaimie muttered to herself as she was dropping the soldiers.

"Why don't you go there and test it? And yes, Jaimie it is true, your skills and abilities don't match his, but your physical attributes do." Alexa cheered Jaimie up as she summoned her spear and hopped right next to Astral as the two of them were able to make quick work of the rest of the godhood soldiers.

"See, that wasn't so bad." Jaimie ruffled Astral's hair as her suit glowed and lit the surrounding area in a dark emerald green.

"Yes but this was just the start of it. Thank you for conserving your strength because we need to move now!" Astral pointed in the direction that he sensed Valkira in as the two sprinted over too late.

"Hello there my daughter. It is nice to be face to face with you once more." God Emperor's voice was cold and caring. "I want you to live with me in peace. We can do that, my forces are all killing themselves against your friends."

"NO!" Valkira shouted as the two were shrouded in a black veil as they appeared miles away from the crash site where Jaimie and Astral were preoccupied. "I'd rather die than live with you." Valkira readied her twin axes as she was ready to defeat him and bring peace to the galaxy where there was none.

The shadow on God Emperor's shoulders faded as he shoo'ed it away, he held his head down in disappointment. She was the only thing he ever cared about as his heart sank. "Very well." She came swinging in with both axes much faster than he had ever seen. Being able to push her just far enough back where it sparked on his armor.

He glared at her, she hasn't changed from the young spitfire he raised. "I can't do this to you." She kept swinging at him as tears rolled down her eyes. He pulled out his saber and started to block her attacks with relative difficulty.

She learned how to counter his offensive attack and she could see openings getting larger on the defensive end. She swung true with her ax as it slashed the outer clothing of his outfit. She was supposed to do that, he let her think she was close as she was slammed into the ground and felt an immense pressure on her.

Seeing the saber coming towards her skull, she was able to push it back using her magnetism. By having it stab himself through the kidney. A black ooze came from the wound as he pulled it back out.

"I can't save you anymore." his voice darkened as he became filled with the void, fully committing to its abilities as Valkira hopped back in fear, she didn't have a way to touch him. She slashed open his stomach as a void waterfall rushed at her and sent her back, cutting her chest heavily.

"It's cold." She whispered as she shivered, blood started slowly racing down her skin. "If you die, this galaxy is free for all, and not just us to rule with our special powers." The saber stabbed her right in the gut as the God Emperor pulled it out and backed up. She clutched her wound and magnetized it to keep herself from bleeding out.

"Silly woman, you can't kill me, and my attacks. Can't. Be. Stopped." Overlord spoke through God Emperor's body as each pause meant another void tendril striking at her side, or shoulder or leg as she still stayed standing. "DIE!" It shouted as an ax soared through the air slicing God Emperor in two as the ax was propelled by the magnetic force by her.

A large void spear formed and went straight through her right side, completely erasing it. She fell to her knees as the saber came swinging for her neck as Jaimie blocked the slash. A void tendril came from his left side to strike Jaimie as Astral sliced it away with Muramasa as Valkira finally fell to the ground, her eyes fixated on the two who will finally bring their galaxy to peace. Becoming ever frozen as their purple gaze watched the two.
