Adam dropped both his pistols and smacked her with the back of your hand. "You just lost and your reaction is to cry?" She sent a punch directly to his chest that felt like it had infinite mass.
"I NEVER LOSE!" Her emotions started overflowing and made her a pure monster as a sonic boom was heard. Adam slid backward from the punch and rubbed where he got punched as James stood in front of him.
"Please leave him alone." James looked behind him, he felt like his big brother needed a save and it was now as Valkira sent a blast of magnetic energy at the two. Adam stuck to the ground as James vanished in front of her.
"Where did he go?" Her voice was quiet as James jabbed three pressure points as she fell silent.
"I didn't kill you or cripple you, be happy it wasn't worse." James looked around and snapped as the bridge slowly morphed back into its normal state as James set her gently on the couch as Angel walked by the guardsmen.
Adam stood up. "I have one rule that I wish you all abide by." Adam held out a card and handed it to one of the guardsmen. "I want to bring this galaxy to peace. You guys are rebelling for the right cause in the wrong ways, the normal citizen is being force fed so much propaganda that they think you're a terrorist cell."
"Show them you are united in a cause wanting to bring peace and watch the people turn on the empire." Adam motioned for the guardsmen to grab their wounded as James picked up Valkira. "These two will escort you to your ships. Please contact me once you are ready to accept that peace is the way forward."
Angel walked out the door as James followed her with Valkira in his arms. The guardsmen followed closely behind the two as Falcon and Wolf appeared on the bridge, watching the group walk off.
"You asked us to be here?" Wolf asked.
"Yes, I need you two in charge of picking apart the empire's propaganda machine. Between your two fireteams and clones with the volunteers. I want their communication destroyed." Adam handed Wolf the reports and Falcon the details.
"After Astrid is finished with the interrogations and their wounded are stable, give them back a ship or two filled with prisoners. Infiltrate with stealth and show what animals the empire truly is." Adam sat down in a chair. "I'm pretty sure you guys can find footage from their central communication tower on how bad they are."
"You sure you don't want more help with this?" Falcon asked.
"We just need to flip the people against the empire, it'll fracture into loyalists which will isolate themselves and the free people who will be supported by us." Adam gave him a thumbs up as Astrid walked in.
She tossed a set of keys to Wolf as he caught them. "All yours boys. Have fun with them, they are a little fired up." Astrid handed the tablet of information to Falcon and Adam.
"Good job Astrid, you can be their tech expert." Adam smiled as Wolf chortled away a laugh as Falcon bent himself over trying not to laugh. Astrid didn't look too surprised.
"They need someone to babysit them if someone strong comes around." The two men stopped laughing as Astrid just shrugged before running as Wolf and Falcon chased her.
"Heh, now we play the waiting game. The empire's rule will crumble and I will let nature take its place." Adam watched as the rebel ships glided away. The systems wanted to shoot them down as Adam dismissed the system.
James and Angel made it to the bridge after an hour as Adam had food spread for them. "Come on and eat then we can enjoy the training room for a different use." James and Angel lit up with joy as they started digging in and eating all of the food as Adam enjoyed his plate.
The days passed as Adam managed reports while giving the twins tips in the training room. They were safe in the middle of nowhere now as the empire wouldn't dare a massive attack, the rebellion would hopefully listen to their message as Laz and his fleet were shredding the empire's outer rim planets freeing them to have them become neutral.
Neigel was in charge of the study of the empire's ships as he diagnosed the successful parts and the flaws. Adam came up with a new prototype ship as Neigel worked hard on it in the factories to perfect it.
Sal, Jax and Zane led another front stretching deeper into the empire's territory, making sure to watch out for the independents' territory as Pete met up with Laz and pinsered the empire's third largest fleet. The humanity. The fight was destructive for both sides, tides shifting back and forth until the Ambassador showed up with Sal, Jax and Zane. Saving the other two as the empire's fleet was wiped out.
The five of them pulled back after the heavy casualties. Adam started replacing their fleets with the new model of ships as the civilians on board the Red Merle mourned the losses. As did the clones and Adam. Once a day, they would have ten minutes of silence for the losses.
The empire couldn't keep fighting them. Their central defense fleet however now had to be split or God Emperor had to split his personal fleet to keep rule over the hundred planet's the empire had left. He chose the latter for the safekeeping of the empire. Having a quick response force meant for any engagement to trap any battle.
Adam turned the empire into a defensive turtle. The rebellion had shut themselves in and prepared themselves for the opportunity for success as the Independents finally reached out to Adam. They wanted to bring peace to the galaxy especially after the incident that happened to the only thing keeping them in this war.
