Chapter 129 - Astral's Rise Part 80: Solace

Astral stood on the bridge and looked around. "Adam, where is Jaimie?"

"She went to your room, don't look at me like that I'm busy cleaning your mess up." Astral rolled his eyes as Adam explained. "The drone surveillance came up with nothing inside the solar system."

"Long range scans won't come up with anything soon." Astral shuddered as something felt tremendously off. A voice was crying out to him, was it a foresight, he took a second as he realized it was a dying star, they figured out how to use them for their own powers.

"Astral, are you cold?" Adam asked as Astral's jacket puffed up in automatic response from the shivering.

"Astrid and Zeta, can you come over here?" Astral waved them up as he flipped up his hood, the gold trim locking it in place. "I have to put you inside of the pocket dimension real quickly." They both looked confused as he spoke. Wait, it was coming from them, he felt the push of gravity.

The macro scale of it all started to make Astral shake. He set both of his hands down as he shuddered quickly and slowed his breathing. Astral lifted an arm and pulled it towards him. He felt the massive object. It was coming this way. He thrusted his arm forward and pushed the planet back.

"Astral you have to communicate." Adam grabbed him and brought him back to reality. Astrid and Zeta stood at Astral's side.

"All of these different powers are giving me headaches. What destroyed the galaxy was a robot, he can dissolve planets and use them for himself." Astral dropped his head onto Adam's hand as it clicked for Astrid and Zeta.

"So that's why you want us on your side, as close as possible." Astrid spoke as Astral nodded his head. The two androids locked their gazes together.

"Adam, whatever you do, I cannot be followed." Astral raised his head, his eyes glowed a dark red hue as his voice dropped deeper. The pocket dimension opened up as Astrid and Zeta jumped in and were ready for their mission.

"I don't think you are in any state to leave." Adam looked at him, a sense of worry washed over him. Astral snapped behind him.

"The suns need justice, their voices are being silenced. Align the refraction chamber for these coordinates Red Merle." Astral walked away as Red Merle saluted him.

"It will be done by the time you get down there." Red Merle responded back to him. Astral gave a peace sign and was gone in a cyan blur.

"Shiro, where he goes I need surveillance drones to hone in on his location and stream it to this bridge." Adam looked over to the computer. She swung her legs ready. "Wait what about Achilles?"

"He is facing off versus a weak version of Astral, about a one hundredth of the power, hasn't landed a hit, some of our nurses are making sure he doesn't die." Shiro filled in Adam as the rings of the station were moved.

Astral fired himself from the refraction tunnel faster than the speed of light directly at their planet. The cyan blur glowing across space as Adam and Shiro watched and tracked the beam. "Adam, there are celestial bodies being digested according to our solar sonars." Alexa spoke.

"Those were the voices. Alexa, shut down the station and keep the power on minimum, we can't have it reach the milky way." Adam spoke as Alexa sighed.

"But we are finally making progress on the fixes you layed out!" Alexa pleaded as he and Kayla looked over.

"Right now the safety of all of the crew and civilians are in danger. If they can condense and destroy stars they have the power to damage the station." Adam spoke as Kayla nodded. Alexa shrugged, turning onto minimal power mode, only powering the essential areas and the training room.

"The station is running on low power mode, till given the clear from the higher up standard operations will pause for approximately four to five days." Adam's voice rang over the intercom across all parts of the station minus the civilian area.

Jaimie was in their room lying down. "You fucking bastard." She sighed as James and Angel came and followed her, laying next to her. 'If he doesn't die I will kill him.' She started to slowly pet the two children at her sides.

'Refraction rate of any shield source by electricity or energy has one flaw. They can be bypassed by moving faster than light speed.' Astral landed on the planet. He saw its soil. Soft like dirt and yet felt shapeable like clay, and sturdy like steel. "Probably only have three minutes tops before I get swarmed." Astral opened the pocket dimension as Astrid and Zeta fell out.

"You two know what we are looking for yet?" Astral asked as the three sensed the size of the planet. It felt massive, larger than the Red Merle by a lot. Astral wiped his hand on the soil once more. Seeing the metal fragments among the soil.

"We are robots and can blend in during any chaos?" Astrid asked. Astral nodded as he smiled, hidden by the cloak. "We can look for the leaders of this planet?" Astral gave her a thumbs up as Zeta started to sense movement on his sensors.

"Sir movement, shall we engage with the threats to the south?" Zeta asked as his weapons flared to life.

"No." Astral's sleeves vanished as his arms became bare. Looking up at his mech he smiled. "You need to take on the leader of this planet. Name is Robit, easy to identify, look for a frog legged robot." Astral stood as he slid his scythe on his back and put his sword on his side.

"There is another super creature here, an AI on par with you Astrid, you need to stop that one. Be warned all that ram is equal to yours." He spoke as he held the standard issue sidearm for the army.

"They are tracking your thermals." Zeta spoke as Astral started laughing.

"That's why I am sending you two to win. I'm the diversion. They hate humans and will kill anything with a pulse." Astral slid his back foot and launched Zeta and Astrid to the sky as they watched the mob of robots advanced on Astral steadily.
