James hopped back into action as Alex threw a punch directly at James face, who went under it and threw a light jab into the abdomen of his opponent. Alex took two steps back as James smiled. "I FUCKING DARE YOU TO CALL ME A STUPID CAT AGAIN!" He pounced sending both fists into Alex's blocking arms, sending him into the ground with a crack in the floor as his forearms broke.
"He is going to do it again." Angel sighed as Alex stood up.
"I won't back down from any foul abomination." His arms were screaming in pain and for him to stop. He still had his honor to defend. As Astral watched his emotions feed into his attacks, making them stronger.
Alex launched a kick with his right leg. James caught it with his left arm. Bringing his forearm directly down onto his kneecap, shattering it. Throwing a punch directly into the chest of Alex as he got sent back. The look of fire and strength swelled inside of James' eyes. The others looked up to Achilles.
"Well then, the stray cat Astral picked up knows more tricks than meets the eye." Achilles clapped as a medical staff came and carried the battered body of Alex away from the battle. He was unconscious in pain as he tried to reach out to his king. "Gengin. You are up remember. Don't hold back."
"I won't, my lord." He bowed to his king as he took the spot in the arena where his friend was, facing off versus a rabid animal. "What a nasty and disturbing creature you are." James was hunched over, the only thought inside of his head was anger.
"Begin." Achilles seemed bored with this. James went in close right away, faster than Gengin thought was possible. He pulled out two batons and whacked James hard on the back. Knocking him off balance as he slid on all fours looking back up at him.
"Astral, they are cheating! They are going to hurt him badly, stop it!" Angel pleaded to him as he turned to her.
"I won't, I can't interfere with the fight." he looked back over at James. "But I can even the field. James, you can use your gloves!" James backed up a full pace near his starting point. He stood still, slipping his hands into his pockets.
"Nothing can break these batons, your efforts will be for nothing as I beat you into an inch of your life." Gengin spoke as James tightened his gloves. He went back into the fight with a more clear head, each swing from Gengin was almost seen as if it was already too late and predicted.
Gengin swung his left one at the knee, blocked by a swift kick to the hand. Swinging the right baton at his shoulders, met with a high kick to the hand. He tried in vain to swing the left one upwards to strike James in the face. Only to feel the baton pulled from his hand. James' tail wrapped around it and tossed it to the side.
With all of his strength and both arms he swung down the right baton onto James. Who flicked his left wrist as claws extended from the gloves. The blades from each claw cutting the baton into shreds, shocking the Polemistis team.
James threw a lightning quick punch into the gut of Gengin. He collapsed as he felt like all of his internal organs ruptured. He started coughing up blood as he was on all four of his appendages. James grabbed his hair. "Who is the rabid animal?" Shoving his skull into the ground as the ground around the impact was shattered.
"JAMES!" Astral reached his arm out as it was too late. He just killed the man before him. The Polemistis crew all stood still. This is the power of them. "I will not ask you to fight him if you don't want Ned." Ned put his hand up as Astral walked over to the dead body. Summoning a clone breathing life back into Gengin.
"He will still be in critical condition, I used a bit of life to bring him back." Astral looked up as he smiled. James watched this sorcery. "Show some restraint, no more killing okay?" Astral grabbed James by the cheeks as Ned punched through Astral's hand knocking James to the ground as Astral hopped back.
James stood on his hands, his eyes staring into Neds. Ned let James come to him. Launching a punch directly for his left shoulder, Ned countered with a hard knee to the chest, lifting James off the ground and over Ned. Grabbing his free arm, Ned whipped him into the ground.
"You need to be put down for everyone's sake!" Ned sent his foot down to crush James' skull. When the foot hit the ground the floor shattered as James stood behind him. Ned launched an elbow back that James caught with his teeth.
Smashing his arm against the other he sent James backwards a few feet as James stood there. All his stacks vanished before his eyes, this was Astral's doing, no, he didn't focus any stacks on aura. "Shit." He realized he had mere seconds before he crashed.
He jumped side to side so fast Ned didn't have diddly squat on where James was. Coming from above James grabbed his skill and kneed it with all of his strength, knocking out Ned as he fell to his knees, being caught by Alice.
James crashed into the ground with all his speed as Angel rushed over. "You don't fucking listen!" She sighed and looked up in disgust as she carried him over to Jaimie who held him in her arms like a very large baby.
"I apologize for him, he comes from a rough and fearful past, none of your comments helped your cause." Astral spoke coldly as Angel stood next to him. Alice stood ready for combat as Achilles looked down on all of them.
"You disappoint me so far Astral, I thought you would have some master plan for him to beat me by himself. What a stupid cat." Achilles spoke as coldly as Astral, emotionless.
"DO NOT TALK ABOUT MY BROTHER LIKE THAT!" Angel's aura was blazing after the comment he made. This took everyone by surprise. "He may not be smart when he needs to be, but he is still my brother, and I will kill you myself if you speak another bad word about him."
"Sorry miss, but you still have one other person in your way." Achilles pointed to Alice who cracked her knuckles, preparing herself to beat the shit out of a bird. "Until that happens, you just have to wait."
Angel looked over with pleading eyes. "Please let me fight him, I know you have different plans. Please?" Astral looked down at her and hugged her.
"It's became personal and emotional for you past the point where I would allow it. If you still have over half your aura left after this fight, yes. If not, I am subbing in Airsoft so you can keep an eye on your brother. Deal?" Astral spoke a nice soothing tone to try and ease her mind as she pushed herself away from him. Her arms extended she nodded yes. "Go get her and I believe in you!" Astrals tone turned into excitement as the two readied themselves.
