Jaimie and her shuttles landed safely where there was no one, her park being thick as the goggles let her peer into the tundra. "They aren't here, we need to slowly move towards the rest of Europe rather than the frozen shithole we are at."
Zane stood in his insulated armor. "Didn't we grow up in a state actually affected by winter?" Jaimie tilted her head over as they had poor visibility through the icy winds. "Thermal markings are at certain points. Each one is marked on our tablets, keep them close." The troops in the ships nodded their heads as Jaimie waved her hands to advance.
The shuttles broke off into two hundred troop groups, with a captain for each of them. Spreading out across all of Russia, all of the civilians refused the offer to escape off of earth. Jaimie felt slightly disappointed as Zane took one regiment south through Asia itself.
Zane really wanted to regroup with Sal and Jax, being under the cruel eye of Jaimie seemed super scary. He saw China, Japan and Korea completely annihilated. With one hold out of civilians located in the Philippines. Zane was able to swoop in and rescue them as he met up with Sal and Jax in Sidney
Jaimie hit the border of Poland as she finally saw the state of the planet. How well it was resisting. It wasn't good as the Red Merle did a scan, each country had roughly one bunker where they were held up in.
The Middle East was in shambles. Each of the arabic nations were completely destroyed. Two regiments of two hundred saw no one alive left in all of the nations, seemingly all of their resources were left, the Sacramentum didn't need them, weird.
Jaimie made her way to the Poland bunker as she opened the door by pulling it open. It seemed like the only country left fighting was Germany, go figure. "Hey, it's okay, I'm here to help you escape if you want it." Jaimie extended her arm as the Poland officer slapped it away.
"Die you witch, for the Sacramentum!" The officer opened fire as two members of the Astral Army came in with shields and blocked the fire. Jaimie reached her hand over the shields and dropped a grenade down the hallway as the three ran out. Sealing the entrance. "I hope they all aren't like this."
"General, we have reports of a German resistance movement! Go to help them and secure the civilians by helping them." One of the officers asked Jaimie as she gave a thumbs up as eight hundred troops left to fight.
"You ten, clear this bunker out and meet up with the rest of us in Belgium." Jaimie pointed as she walked out the bunker to the distress call. The ten men ran through the bunker, safely escorting the kids that were isolated in their own chamber out.
"Jaimie, we need more support, the Germans can hold out but we need your help!" the captain echoed through their short range radio frequency. The situation was turning more desperate by the moment. The eight hundred just arrived and set up a perimeter, being able to secure one of the last strongholds among the Germans.
"One third of our force is already spread out between you now and Zane. Fine, I'll meet you there myself." She tightened her armor up as she looked to her captain. "Remember to stick together, move around Germany for now. Once we give the signal you will be divided and pinser the enemy. Got it?" The captains nodded.
"Good, now you take your eight hundred through Belgium, to Denmark then France. Laz, you are going south through Switzerland and Italy, you two regroup in France. I have Neigel going through Spain and Portugal as we speak." She took off in a single leap. Landing with the forces in Germany.
The Sacramentum forces pointed at her in unison, almost surprised as they all pulled back to their fortifications. Jaimie's dark green armor glinted as the sun went down. Seeing a couple members of her team wounded she bent down and started to help the wounded.
Madam, I am General Holganm. Pleasure to get your assistance at the last second." The grizzled German man stood above her, the scars of battle fresh apon his face, covered in a mix of his own blood and that of the Sacramentum creatures. "Our civilian bunkers are safe as these pieces of shit seem focused on eradicating the fight from us."
He rambled on as he smiled. All of the wounded from her side and his were helped by her hand. Guiding others, being able to stabilize the wounded. Once the sun vanished, Jaimie took off her helmet looking over at the general. "Sorry sir for not introducing myself right off the bat." She extended her hand out to him. "The name is Jaimie from the Astral alliance. Second in command."
"Oh so you are a big shot, which country do you come from?" The accent is laid on thick by his voice as the two stand outside the medical tent.
She pointed up. "That place right there, I am here to save your people from the Sacramentum and offer you and anyone else a place aboard that station." Some of the personal guards stood up from the benches around. Swarming their general.
Holganm called her bluff. "If you are from there, why are you so late to the party?" His forces aimed at Jaimie as she raised her fist as a symbol to stand down.
"I wouldn't play this game of chicken." She took a step forward as all the guards grabbed their throats in a boom of sound. "Too slow, I will take command from here and my forces will finish this mess you let run around." Holganm was shocked. Looking at his forces he waved the medics over to get them helped.
Laz and Neigel formed up behind her with two others marked like a captain. "That was kind of harsh miss." Laz spoke as she nodded in agreement as she donned her helmet once more.
"You can give me a lecture later, for now." She pointed to the camp where the Sacramentum were, the cruiser above them seemingly left. "We have one goal. Funnel them to me. Laz, Neigel, Garret, Robin. Join up with your forces and flood them downhill to the street." She slowly started walking down the road with nothing but dead bodies from both sides.
Once out of earshot the four captains looked at each other. Laz spoke out. "She must have a death wish, what a crazy lady." The others looked at him and just rolled their eyes. Each one of them saw how fast she was, the Sacramentum would be lucky to land a blow on her. Laz got into position as with the rest of the captains.
"General, we are all in position. Remember to keep any large attacks filtered toward the center. You want to keep any of the spare rubble from hurting us right?" Neigel spoke as Jaimie got a soft chuckle.
"Yes Neigel, yes." she stood steadfast as her shield glimmered among the moonlight. Smiling her spear swung into the ground, shattering it to create her arena for combat. She stood watching as gunfire broke loose. From the Sacramentum side they fired downhill at her, as she avoided each and every round.
Someone shouted into her ear. "Ha, you are behind Astral, he has cleared out the forces from North America." Astrid spoke before comms went silent. 'He did it in less time with less forces, how?' She thought for a fleeting second as the buildings collapsed around the Sacramentum, trapping them in. Jaimie saw the green flare launch up as she charged in.
Her speed was otherworldly, sparks were flying through the air igniting it on fire as she focused on meeting up with him. Wave after wave of swords from both the Tizzle and Apparazza couldn't even slow her down. The ones who got close were ignited from the rapid speed of the spear and the heat generating from it.
She thrusted her way into the core of the encampment where she wanted to savor the combat and learn from it, no longer igniting the air her spearhead still glowed a bright red as she kept cleaving through enemies.
The push from the Sacramentum meant little to her, it was all fodder to her, she listened to Astral on watching her breathing and trying to focus it. She seemed stronger while showing restraint. One of the Sacramentum Tizzles got behind her and swung their blade down. Only striking an after image as she hovered in the air.
"Piercing scales explosion." sending her spear at the speed of sound into the ground, it leveled the entire Sacramentum camp as she landed softly next to her spear. Her own wings waiting for a fist bump as Jaimie gave it to them. She walked back to the German camp successful. Ready to see if Holganm is ready to negotiate to join or be left here.
"You are a witch." Holganm spoke as his guard had their rifles aimed at her as she entered the staff tent.
"But I did just eliminate the enemy and finish your mistake, correct?" Jaimie had her helmet tucked between her left arm and side as the room trembled with fear. "So, have you decided to join us yet or not?"
"We will not, we have plenty to live for and every bunker feels the same way." Holganm spoke, "Especially after a witch saved us, we are not interested." Jaimie turned around and walked away as he motioned to gun her down.
The tent burst into flames as she walked away untouched. "You better not play with fire." She looked at the spear, smiling thinking of that man in the armor, he is the one who did this to the spear. "Alright, lace up, we are heading to California!" Her forces shouted in unison of her support.
