In the Mortal Realm
Blood rain was pouring down on a small forest called CursedSoul Swamp.
In that forest is where a small tribe lived and they are called Snow Fangs.
Snow Fang is full of tigers and is the only tribe that can turn themselves into human beings. They wear tiger fur clothes with shoes that are made out of bamboo and they all live in tents. When the tribe noticed that something was wrong with the weather, people started to cry with fear and confusion on their faces. Running around thinking that a curse has come because of the newborn infant named Lu Cai.
There was no one to stop the people and calm them down until a young man appeared wearing all white. He holds his sword with his right hand and carries a token that says, Duyehugong.
Duyehugong is a peaceful area encircled by a lake called Forbidden and near his home are trees that grow Mist Pepper. The youthful man's name was Song Lin with a small scar on his face.
Song Lin is the fourth prince of the imperial palace and the one that will have the crown in the future. But he stabbed his siblings when he turned 10 with a knife from the kitchen. And the day he turned 13, he was sent to the Duyehugong with a sleeping dragon in the lake to reflect on his crime.
The moment the people from the tribe noticed that a young man arrived on their territory. They started to get their weapons ready and attacked the man who they saw was a threat.
Before the Blood Rain
In Heaven Realm: Floor Seven
General Zhan Hua barged into the main lobby of the place and bowed to the emperor in a rush.
"Your Majesty, the devils have entered our first floor. Should I go prepare our men right now or wait until they're on the second floor?."
Emperor Wu Chun's back was facing the general. "How dare they invade us without proper reason." He cleared his throat. "We should wait and watch what they're going to do next or else we will make mistakes and fall into their trap."
The general nodded after the emperor spoke. "Yes, Your Majesty". He then left the main lobby and headed to where the soldiers were.
After the general left, the wife of the emperor, Chen Xia, entered the lobby and walked slowly toward her husband. And as she got close, she then stood in front of her husband with a worried look on her face. "Your Majesty, Is everything going to be… alright and goes as planned?. I don't want anything to harm…my precious son who is still in bed being protected by the….barrier that I set up."
Her husband smiled and grabbed his wife's hand. "My dear, I'm sorry if I'm making you worry…but since you just gave birth. You should go rest and let me handle everything here."
His wife nodded.
Meanwhile…
Demon World
The demon lord, Su Qing, was sitting on his throne while his army headed straight to the second floor of the heavenly realm.
Before the war began, his assistant named Pan Zexi decided to come inside and handed him a bowl of grapes, hoping he would forgive her.
Su Qing looked at Pan Zexi while eating grapes. "You want me to forgive you huh?.. Well, are you going to make that same mistake again?."
Pan Zexi bow. "No, my lord for the sake of my brother..I will be loyal to you and only you."
He laughed and nodded. "Good! Good!." Then he put the bowl of grapes on the table beside him and walked outside to defeat his rival after getting up from his chair.
Flashback: 1800 Thousand Years Ago
In the Mortal Realm before they return
Wu Chun was 12 years old while Su Qing was only 10.
They were playing around at the lake called Bayto, throwing rocks and small pebbles into the water. That lake was the only way for them to see each other but what Su Qing doesn't know is that his best friend, Wu Chun, got tortured by his mother. She dislikes Wu Chun so much that she hopes he will learn his lesson and not be friends with her son.
Wu Chun was bleeding with six marks on his back from a long whip that he had never seen before. And when Su Qing saw that his best friend was sitting down on a rock, he started to walk toward him with a gift that he got from his mother and held it out for him to see. Su Qing thought that Wu Chun was in a good mood, enjoying his time in the mortal realm.
"Wu Chun! Wu Chun! Look, my mother handed me a gift."
Wu Chun looks at the gift. It was a dragonfly made out of jade.
The person that created the jade was a female named Su Ah. Su Ah is a 19 years old teenager that wears an old-fashioned dress. She lives in the green forest with a deer that guards the area. But then somehow, she vanished into thin air, carrying a black crystal in a bag that she tied around her waist. And the day after she was gone, the whole forest slowly turned dark and dry, while the deer waited for her to return.
Wu Chun hit the gift to the ground in anger.
The jade then broke in half as Wu Chun glared his best friend in the eyes. "DON'T COME TO SEE ME ANYMORE."
This was the last word Su Qing ever heard from his dear friend.
Wu Chun gets up from the rock and vanishes home to the heavenly realm.
Su Qing then froze and cried as he looked down at his precious gift. "I will not forgive you, Wu Chun. My mother likes you better than me just because I'm weak with no brain. You took that love away and now I will gather my power and defeat you once I'm ready."
Su Qing's true color finally came out due to his jealousy and hatred, even though he doesn't know that his mother is pretending to be nice to his best friend. It was only because he was there and she didn't want to hurt her son's feelings.
After the Flashback
"I will never forgive you for what you did 1800 thousand years ago, Wu Chun." He whispers to himself.
