This is truly the first time I write a novel. To be honest, I really don't know where to start.
I used to draw alot of one-shot heroic comic since I'm sitting on elementary school, and here I am 31 years old male right now, so it's been far too long for me to write another story. Time flies fast, I feel that way.
I never had any mentor regarding to how i wrote this novel, so my writing could be rough, but I really appreciate you for deciding to read my novel. And I'll promise it'll gets better in the next chapter, just for you to enjoy my novel.

Yes, that's right! How about I made some heads up about this story?
I feel like considering fantasy genre is the best fit for the story I'll make in this novel. But I also wanted to add some twist, since time and space is fairly unique concept for me, added with the progress and the journey of both main characters. Hopefully this brings you joy in reading my novel.
It will be very long story going ahead so I plan to make it few chapters per week.

The settings
The settings would be in the 1800s European history adaptation, the time when the inventions occur.
The place, I choose somewhere in the alternate fiction of Earth, an uncharted and isolated mountain zone that is hidden by high level magic, in the perspective of outsider, they'll see nothing but gigantic forest in the peak of mountain. The name of that place is the Kingdom of Akgardia. This kingdom is a fairly bustling city, especially for various magic device trades crafted by the citizen of Akgardia. As for whoever can enter and exit the Kingdom, it is revealed that only high leveled person - such as messenger of King or Queens from other kingdom - with spesific permits they are allowed to enter and leave Akgardia.
The citizens of Akgardia are able to possess and freely use the magic for every needs such as cooking, crafting, trading related to magic devices and other daily needs - that is still regulated by the Akgardian Council.
The society of Akgardia have high regard of secrecy, trademarks and believe in the Rank system made by the Akgardian Council. Those things will determine how they're make some fortune and live their lives better as their Rank goes up. We'll see how it goes into the main story later.
There are also other Kingdom like Enkarsia Republic, which resides in the great plains. Here lives mid class citizen compared to the Kingdom of Akgardia citizens. This kingdom is mainly well known for farming and growing cattle. They started as small country but since their soil is blessed by the Goddess of Serenia, they're able to produce more food supply, and currently become the largest source of food exports to the several big nations - including the Kingdom of Akgardia - all thanks to the Akgardia technology they've traded with. The distance from Enkarsia to Akgardia is roughly estimated 3 days riding horse.
The Characters
The story is all about living in the magical world, I would like to start with two young male characters, named Ieza Horgan and Naruwa. They are living under well-known aristocrat family but each of them has different life story and also different goals throughout the whole story.
Ieza Horgan, is the family true son. He is very smart, charming, persistence and always thinking far ahead for every obstacle he met. He rarely talks to anyone except his family and his inner circle.
Naruwa is an adopted son in Horgan Family. He is the youngest in the family but also having exact polar opposite personalities with Ieza Horgan. He is rather slothful, always following everyone order, and only doing what exactly the family told him to do. Sometimes doing less of what they asked, but he still get it done nevertheless.
Both character with different traits and personalities, we will see where the story gonna be...
Now for the other characters I should mention below:
Hesse Horgan is their mother, and Gerrard Horgan is their father and the head of Horgan family. They are both well-known politicians for the Kingdom of Akgardia. They are both strict parents to uphold their Horgan Family reputations. They believe being strict is the key to ensure their children follow to their path and continue the legacy of Horgan Family. They are also regarded as High rank Witch and Wizard respectively.
Shaeri is a female, family maid - that is entrusted by Horgan Family - to handle things related to household, especially for both Ieza and Naruwa needs. Among all Horgan Family members, only she doesn't possess magic, but handled every task exceptionally well.
Goddess of Serenia, is one of the goddesses mentioned above, worshipped by the most people especially from Akgardia citizens. People in Akgardia believes that she is the source of their magic power. They also believe that the Rank system determine how someone will be received either large or small magic power - granted by the Goddess herself.
There are several imporant figures from Akgardian Council that will be revealed soon in the story, and they surely bring more impact to the story as well.
