The midday sun was shining through the floor-to-ceiling windows in the living room, a little harsh. Jeff was closing the curtains by remote control when he sees the man opposite him give him a strange look, Via looked away, then looked again a moment later.
"Just say what you have to say," he tsked, leaned back into the sofa.
"Did you do something to her?" Via spreaded his hands: "I had a little thought, but I can't be sure, because that hasn't happened in all the previous experiments."
Jeff was silent, not answering.
Seeing this, Via sat up a little straighter, gathered her curly blonde hair and her face grew serious, "No one wants to pry into your sex life, Lord Major General. But I am responsible for the drugs I have developed, and you have to cooperate with the treatment for your partner's health, too. Isn't that right?"
