Chapter 39 - Archmage Ophelia

Spinat Magic Tower is located 50 kilometers north of Steele City. In the center of Spinat Magic Tower, there is a vast estate that encompasses forests, lakes, streams, small hills, and various other terrains, creating a dream-like and enormous manor that occupies nearly one-third of the entire Spinat Magic Tower's area.

This magnificent and beautiful estate serves as the headquarters of Spinat Magic Tower. In the center of the estate stands a three-story, sixty-meter-high magic tower.

The magic tower is constructed entirely of Steelrock, a material as hard as steel. Steelrock is one of the common materials used in the construction of magic towers.

With the blessing of the magicians' spells, it gains extraordinary power.

A brick-sized piece of Steelrock costs over one gold coin, so the construction of a sixty-meter-high magic tower would require the consumption of several million gold coins in Steelrock alone.

When factoring in other materials, the total cost of constructing such a magic tower would likely exceed tens of millions of gold coins.

Although the cost of building a magic tower is exorbitant, it also possesses various remarkable uses.

A junior magician, with the cooperation of enough magician apprentices inside the magic tower, can even contend with an intermediate magician.

Furthermore, the magic tower can gather the spiritual energy of heaven and earth, allowing the powerful individuals inside the tower to accelerate their cultivation speed.

Moreover, some powerful magicians can use the magic tower to manipulate the weather within its range.

Some roaming great magicians who have not joined major factions do not have their own magic towers.

Spinat Magic Tower can have its own magic tower because they are rooted in the Wheatly Empire and receive enormous wealth every year.

A beautiful woman, approximately 35 or 36 years old, dressed in a white magician robe, was watering a peculiar flower with a cat-like face in the garden next to the magic tower.

"Dana, the water today is too bland! I want honey water! Don't try to appease me with sugar water!" The flower with a cat-like face swayed its body and bared its teeth and claws.

Dana smiled and said, "We've run out of honey! I'll buy some this afternoon!"

"No, go now! I'm dying of thirst! Without honey, I will perish!" The flower argued with Dana.

"Wait, the white crow is back!" Dana looked up at the sky.

A white crow descended from the sky and landed on her right arm.

"Dana, Steele City is in trouble!"

The white crow settled on Dana's right arm and chattered, relaying everything Yvette had said.

Dana calmly listened and then turned to walk towards the magic tower.

Dana arrived at the third floor of the magic tower and stopped in front of a room at its deepest part. She knocked on the door and said, "Teacher, it's Dana."

"Come in!" a voice came from inside the room.

Dana then pushed open the door.

In that room, a noblewoman with wine-red hair was diligently writing something at a desk.

The noblewoman was incredibly beautiful, appearing to be around 30 years old, with fair and captivating skin.

Her elegance and grace gave off a noble and refined temperament, making her unforgettable at first sight.

Her wavy shoulder-length hair was dyed wine-red, lightly powdered, and adorned with exquisite gemstone earrings and hairpin.

She was not wearing a magician robe but instead dressed in a luxurious leather coat, with a fox fur draped around her neck, exuding an air of elegance and magnificence.

At the same time, the noblewoman had a tall figure, standing over 1.7 meters in height, with a slim waist. She wore a black pencil skirt on her lower body, tightly hugging her curvaceous and ample buttocks.

Beneath the skirt, two long and slender snow-white legs extended, astonishing in length. She wore flesh-colored silk stockings on her legs and a pair of milk-white high heels with red soles, featuring thin and sharp 10-centimeter heels.

Faintly, the noblewoman emanated an aura of dominance and fierceness with every move she made, showcasing a commanding presence beneath her stunning appearance.

This noblewoman was none other than Ophelia, the owner of Spinat Magic Tower, a grand sorceress.

Ophelia did not look up but expressed some impatience. "What is it? Speak quickly!"

"Teacher! The towns surrounding Steele City have been invaded by an unknown force of lustful beasts, claiming themselves as lustful beasts... They are highly likely to choose to attack Steele City."

Dana respectfully reported the information she heard from the white crow to Ophelia, recounting every detail without omission.

Ophelia, now somewhat surprised, raised her head. "Lustful beasts? Male monsters and orcs? Ridiculous!"

"Go and respond to Yvette, tell her that if those despicable males dare to invade our Steele City, I will lead all the magicians from the magic tower to support."

"Yes, Teacher!"

Dana respectfully acknowledged and withdrew, closing the door very carefully before leaving.
