Chapter 26 - The expeditionary force

"What's happening?" Eric asked.

"The main forces of Steele City are advancing towards our position in Redleaf Town. They consist of 1,000 female cavalry, 100 heavily armored knights, and 10,000 infantry. They are approximately thirty minutes away from reaching Redleaf Town," reported the reconnaissance system of the lustful beasts base, which provided real-time information.

"Interesting. These are like female slaves coming to us voluntarily," Eric quickly responded, his surprise turning into a confident smile.

Compared to ordinary people, it was much more satisfying to engage with these well-trained female soldiers, female commanders, and elegant noblewomen.

"All lustful beasts, follow me and launch a preemptive strike to take down the Steele City forces!" Eric's eyes flashed with determination as he swiftly issued a series of commands.

With the absolute control of the lustful beasts base, even though the lustful beasts were in the midst of their mating frenzy, they immediately halted and followed Eric's orders, starting to assemble.

Before long, Eric had gathered a lustful beasts army numbering over 100,000!

100,000!

In just a few days, the number of Eric's lustful beasts army had multiplied several times, thanks to the massive amount of erotic energy provided by over 5,000 breeding females in Redleaf Town.

The main force consisted of an orc army, including 30,000 goblins, 20,000 gnolls, 10,000 corrupted lust hounds, 5,000 pigmen, and 500 recently summoned trolls.

Additionally, the quantity of the lustful beasts army was also formidable.

Since the Zerg had performed unexpectedly well in the previous siege of Redleaf Town, Eric had specifically hatched a large number of lust bees, face-hugging worms, and the newly emerged lust locusts and anal-drilling earthworms, totaling 50,000 in number.

"Move out!"

With Eric's command, the 100,000-strong lustful beasts army formed a black torrent, surging out of the town gates of Redleaf Town.

"Misty, is it true that all those monsters and orcs are males? Where did they come from, and how can there be so many of them?" said a beautiful young girl with golden hair, bright eyes, and a few freckles on her face, riding a tall and majestic horse, her expression filled with excitement and anticipation.

Beside the young girl was a woman in her early thirties, wearing the standard knight armor of the Wheatly Empire, radiating a strong and dignified aura.

"Tasha, we are not here for leisure this time. This is a real war! Lady Yvette sent you and me together to broaden your experience!" sighed Misty, the commander of the expeditionary force from Steele City.

Misty was a typical Nordic beauty, with porcelain-like skin, a sculpted face, and a loose strand of bangs falling gracefully over her sharp and resolute nose.

Beneath her thick and elongated eyelashes, which were several shades darker than the night, lay a pair of serene and luscious lips, slightly pursed with a hint of resignation.

She had long, slightly wavy, golden hair exuding a strong and noble aura. Her well-proportioned figure was irresistibly enticing, and the weighty knight armor not only failed to diminish her beauty but also added a unique charm to her presence.

Misty came from a fallen noble family. Due to the family's decline, she didn't even have enough gold to inherit the family title. However, she relied on her talent and hard work to become a seventh-rank imperial knight.

In the Wheatly Empire, even without a title, a knight was considered the lowest-ranking form of nobility. Although knights were the lowest of the nobles, they still held a prestigious status, completely different from commoners.

To become a knight, one must first serve as a knight page in the household of a noble during their childhood, learning various knightly etiquette.

Through continuous study and training, they could advance to become a knight squire and ultimately ascend to the esteemed rank of a knight.

Meanwhile, another beautiful young girl named Tasha, Yvette's youngest daughter, also voluntarily accompanied Misty on this expedition to vanquish the horde of monsters in Redleaf Town.

This fact left Misty somewhat helpless because she had to protect this noble heiress, or else she would undoubtedly face severe punishment from Lady Yvette.

As the expeditionary force from Steele City, led by Sergeant Misty, maintained a steady marching pace towards Redleaf Town, a sudden event unfolded.

A female military officer in charge of commanding the reconnaissance squad galloped towards them with a panicked expression.

She quickly arrived in front of Misty, dismounted from her horse, and gasped for breath as she spoke:

"Commander Misty, there are... so many monsters and orcs! A large number of them are rushing towards us! They are incredibly fast! Commander, please give urgent instructions!"

"Julie! Provide more details! Have you forgotten everything from the reconnaissance protocol?" Misty furrowed her brows and scolded the female officer, as she seemed too overwhelmed to provide specific information.

"Commander Misty!..."

Before Julie, the female officer, could say anything in her anxious state, Misty's expression suddenly changed.

In the distance, amidst billowing smoke and dust, it seemed as if an endless horde of ferocious beasts was charging with a thunderous sound, shaking the ground with tremendous force, heading straight toward them.

In an instant, Misty understood why Julie was so panicked. The approaching horde of monsters and orcs numbered at least 100,000, far exceeding their previous estimate of only 5,000!

The marching speed of the horde was incredibly swift, rapidly closing in on their formation with visible speed.

Drawing upon her years of military experience, Misty knew that if their troops remained in this location, they would be crushed within moments by the oncoming force.

"Where did these monsters and orcs come from? Could it be from Redleaf Town?" Misty shook her head, dismissing the thought. She was truly an exceptional officer.

Even though the horde of monsters was now within sight of all her soldiers, and the female soldiers wore pale expressions, not a single one panicked. They all awaited her command.

"Quickly! Warriors, assume your formations! Prepare to engage the enemy!"

"Archers, start shooting!"

"Cynthia, you and your group, protect Tasha at all costs. Do not let any monsters or orcs get near her!"

Misty swiftly issued a series of commands while ensuring that her deputy, Cynthia, and the personal guards protected a terrified Tasha, whose face had turned pale.
