A few minutes before the attack on Grava City began, Alexander, who had returned to his father's mansion after losing to Seth in the tournament, walked into his father's room.
"Hey, Dad, can we talk?" Alexander asks in a soft tone.
"Yes, you may speak, my son; what is on your mind?" Kira responds in a calm tone as he types on his computer.
"Do you remember years ago when I first met Seth and you told me he and his father were broke? You told me things like they are satisfied easily, and their selflessness and emotions make them weak-minded," Alexander states.
"Yes, I remember. Why do you bring it up now?" Kira asks as he stops typing.
"Well, what if I said I'm starting to question that sentiment?" Alexander asks in a nervous tone.
"Well, why don't you tell me your reasoning for this sudden question? I'm guessing this is because of your loss against Seth," Kira says as he closes his laptop.
"Yes, you're right, Dad. I lost to that brokie! A humiliating loss at that!" Alexander exclaims with a frustrated expression.
"Yes, and I can tell it has affected you. All you have done ever since you returned home was wallow in your defeat. So go ahead; I'm all ears. Tell me what's holding my only son in such defeat."
"Well, it's not even that I lost; it's just that I lost to him of all people, and when I think about what you said to me when I was a child. I don't know; it's almost as if your words to me are getting muffled with regret," Alexander says with a conflicted expression.
"Hmmm, well I think I see the problem," Kira says with a serious expression.
"Wait, you do?" Alexander asks with a shocked expression.
"Yes, it is obvious you regret abandoning Seth. He was your friend, and in his time of need, you abandoned him when he needed you the most, but don't worry, son, you're not to blame; I am," Kira says as he stands up.
"Wait, what do you mean, Dad?"
Suddenly the roof of the room Alexander and Kira are in explodes, and a bunch of mercenaries invade the home.
"Huh! What's going on? Who are these guys?" Alexander asks frantically.
Kira activates the accelerate technique and sense technique simultaneously and rushes to Alexander's side.
"I can sense a lot of strong OGI users are surrounding the city; it's actually hard to miss them," Kira says as he catches a bullet flying toward Alexander's head.
"Thanks, Dad! But do you think the entire city is under attack?"
"I can't say it depends on the situation outside, but listen, Alexander!"
As dust engulfs the room, Alexander listens attentively to his father.
"I know what I told you all those years. I was just raising the way I know how, and for years I've despised Ronald. He has all the money and power anyone could ask for but uses it for such trivial matters like supporting the community. I hate that someone like him takes first while I take second, but you and Seth are a different era..."
Kira pauses for a second as he reflects on his words.
"I do not apologize for how I raised you or the advice I gave, but what I will say is that you've grown so much since I told you my opinion on Seth. You're now old enough to think for yourself, so all I want to say is I have my opinion, and you have yours. Whether you choose to surround yourself with broke individuals or with rich individuals with selfish drive is up to you. I will still love you as my son no matter what you pick," Kira explains with a sympathetic expression.
When Alexander hears his father's words, his eyes glow with happiness as he smiles.
"Then I have my decision, Dad, I'm going to judge others based on my definition of broke and rich from now on, and Seth is the richest friend I could ever hope for, and I should hurry up and make amends before it's too late!" Alexander says with a passionate tone.
"Then go! I will deal with the mercenaries here alone," Kira says with a small smile on his face.
"But Dad!"
"Go!" Kira yells in a commanding tone.
After hearing his father's tone, Alexander instantly jumped up to the hole in the roof and began rushing into Grava City, which has now become a battlefield.
Back in the present time, Alexander has arrived at Mr.Mink, Jason, and Seth's battle against Killer.
After making his entrance by dissipating the mini-nuke with his band for band power, Alexander jumps down from the roof and lands in front of Seth and Jason with his hands in his pocket.
"So looks like I stepped in at a pretty poverty time, didn't I?" Alexander remarks with a cocky smile.
"How are you going to show up late and instantly start talking shit?" Seth asks.
"Ha! I know you're not trying to lecture me. We are the same; we snotty rich kids got to stick together, don't we?" Alexander asks as he pulls five bands out of his pocket.
"What are you talking about now? Did getting your ass kicked finally make you stop looking at me as a brokie or something?" Seth asks with a confused expression.
Suddenly Alexander goes silent with a serious expression on his face.
"What? Why are you so quiet? You usually never stop yapping about money." Seth remarks.
"Well, this is starting to get awkward," Jason thinks to himself.
"Hey, Seth..." Alexander whispers.
"What is it?" Seth asks in an aggravated tone.
"I'm sorry," Alexander says in an even quieter whisper.
"Wait, what did you say? Can you speak up, damn it!" Seth yells.
"Tch! What can you not hear, brokie? I said I'm sorry, bitch! Take my apology if you want to; I don't have time for this!" Alexander says in an upset tone.
"Wait, Alexander apologizing to me?" Seth says in a confused tone.
"I found your little broke friend Amelia on the way here. I made sure to pay Auctioneer to teleport her back to the stadium. Thank me later!" Alexander yells as he throws the five bands in his hands up above his head.
"Wait, did you just say Amelia, and still I need to know, did you really apologize?" Seth exclaims.
The money starts to fall, completely surrounding Alexander to the point that no one can see him.
Mr.Mink and Killer look swiftly above them and see Alexander in the air above them with auctioneer at his side.
"How did that kid get there that fast? Did he use his powers?" Mr.Mink asks himself.
"..."
"So our opponent is a feared legend. Who cares! What does his bank account look like?" Alexander exclaims with a confident tone.
Alexander begins to talk to auctioneer before he rushes into battle.
"I know there's not enough money in the world to just kill you on the spot, but what I can do is give myself a fighting chance! Auctioneer, go ahead and increase the speed and strength of me, Jason, and Seth, enough for us to keep up in this battle!" Alexander commands.
Auctioner begins to bounce around all over the place, and on its screen it displays 9 billion dollars.
"Do it!" Alexander exclaims.
Suddenly Jason and Seth feel a surge of power swell within themselves.
"Wow! This feels amazing; I've never felt this powerful," Jason states.
"Yeah, we can finally help in this battle!" Seth says as he clenches his fist.
"Hey, brokies, don't get too excited; this power-up only lasts in this battle against Killer, so make use of my money!" Alexander shouts as he slams onto the battlefield.
Alexander rushes at Killer with his power-up and throws a punch at him. Killer dodges the punch and quickly drops his gun.
"..."
Killer chops Alexander in the throat and then kicks him away.
"Damn it...send a speeding train at him!" Alexander says as he coughs up a little.
From Auctioneer, a giant gold train speeds out of him toward Killer after Alexander pays three thousand dollars.
Killer swiftly jumps over the incoming train but then instantly gets kicked back into the way of the train by Mr.Mink.
The train hits Killer directly and sends him spiraling through a few buildings.
"Come on, Seth, we can keep up with everyone's movements; now let's not waste time!" Jason exclaims.
"Don't need to tell me twice!" Seth responds.
When Killer hits the ground, Seth slams his foot and freezes Killer to the ground.
"Rahh?" Jason screams as he shoots a giant blast of Geogaltic energy at Killer while he's frozen in place.
Killer gets hit by the beam, and the entire area explodes, but even with that attack, Killer still stands up like nothing happened.
"Damn, it's still not enough!" Jason exclaims.
"Yeah, it's been the same all day. The only one to actually leave some good damage on this bastard is Mr.Mink," Seth remarks.
Suddenly a giant gold javelin comes down from the sky and slams down onto Killer.
"Look at you fools! Shivering in your 2-dollar shoes like a bunch of homeless peasants on a Christmas night. Grow some pride for once," Alexander remarks.
"These shoes cost three hundred for your information," Seth says with an offended tone.
Alexander pulls three bands out of his hack pocket and throws them in Seth's face as he says, "Go return those and get new ones for eight hundred, brokie."
"Tch! You never change, do you?" Seth mentions.
"Nope, neither do you, friend," Alexander says with a smile.
"What did you say—"
Before Seth can finish his sentence, Mr.Mink lands in front of the three boys.
"Keep your eyes on the enemy kids!"
Everyone looks toward the giant javelin and sees Killer crawling out from under it.
"Like I said before, all of you follow my lead, and with Alexander here to make sure you all keep up, it's even better! Only attack once I get him off-balance! Keep up the pressure!" Mr.Mink orders in a serious tone.
"Right," the boys yell.
At the same time as the assault on Killer continues, the battle between Unknown and Ego continues.
Currently Unknown is hidden in an assortment of boulders, completely out of breath.
"Who the hell is this kid? He keeps moving around; I can't even get a hold of him. I haven't even gotten in a solid hit yet!" Unknown says while breathing heavily.
Unknown begins to think back to what Ego mentioned to him earlier.
"Wow, that man really didn't tell you anything."
"What could Ego possibly have meant?" Unknown asks himself.
"I don't know, maybe I was trying to say he's keeping secrets from you. Ooooo," Ego remarks in a mocking tone.
"Ahhh! Where did you come from?" Unknown yells in shock.
"Damn, don't be a scary pussycat; all I was doing was watching you talk to yourself," Ego remarks in a sly tone.
Ego kicks him in the face, and with a metal bat, hits Unknown in the rib, knocking him to the ground.
"Ah! Where do you keep getting this stuff from?" Unknown exclaims.
Ego then jumps up and kicks him in the same rib, sending him into a wall.
Ego throws the bat on the back of his neck. Then Ego looks up to the sky where the hooded man and Nixion are clashing.
"Oh wow, it seems he's starting to get serious; this should be all over soon."
