The day Kage and Unknown learned that they were going to the Moro zone, Kage rushed home after school to prepare for his trip. Kage walks into his messy room with piles of clothes everywhere.
"Let's see, I'm going to the Moro zone, and the Moro zone is more of a rocky terrain, way different than the Grava zone. Maybe I should get something that will be practical for the Moro zone."
As he thinks about what to take to the Moro zone, he hears his phone ringing from his pocket. He looks at his phone and answers it instantly.
"Unknown, what a coincidence that you called me at this moment. Can you help me with something? I need help finding what clothes to wear to the Moro zone."
"Bro Kage, you know we're only going to the Moro zone for like two days; just pick one fit and wear that while we're there."
"Hmm, maybe you're right. In that case, I'll just wear the clothes I regularly wear and put on my long black boots."
"Well, I also think you should put on your black cargo pants instead of those jeans."
"Yeah, you're right; those will work better with my black boots." Thanks, Unknown, you're the best."
"Of course, man, you know I got you, but on to what I called about. Wayne said we were leaving in two days, and Mr.Mink gave us the next four days off, so in that time, let's practice our level-one techniques."
"Yeah, that sounds like a great idea." I'll come pick you up at eight and take you to the battlegrounds."
"Ok, I will be ready, but make sure you're on time."
"Of course, bro, like Mr.Mink said, I'm never late. Haha."
"Yeah, sure, you're never late, like how you weren't late on our first day back to school."
"Hey, don't sweat the small stuff; I'll be there, promise."
Kage quickly hangs up the phone and starts to think to himself.
"Ok, I should go to sleep early so I can get there on time."
As Kage goes to bed for a good night's rest unknown chills in his house. Unknown's house is empty, without a speck of dust in sight.
"Ok, I should go to bed even though I know he's going to be late."
Unknown lays in his bed and looks at his phone to check the time. Unknown's pupils start to turn black.
"What the hell, why does it look like my phone is getting all blurry? Wait a minute, I'm feeling strange."
Unknown starts to have visions of familiar places.
"What the hell is this?" These places—I've never seen any of them before—but something feels so familiar, almost like I've been there before."
Unknown starts to glow intensely. The glow coming from unknown's body increases with no sign of slowing down.
"My chest It's burning!!! This glow has to be level two, but why does it hurt.
Unknown grabs his head in pain and starts sweating all over.
"What the hell is this?"
Unknown starts to see a vision of a big red castle.
"This castle—I've seen it before, but where? Ahhhh!!"
The vision of the castle disappears, and Unknown drops his phone and falls unconscious. The glow on unknowns body dissipates, and his heartbeat starts to slow down.
The very next day, very late into the morning, Unknown after last night's dilemma is laying in his bed in a cold sweat. Unknown's phone starts to ring. He wakes up suddenly and grabs his phone from the floor.
"Hello, what do you need, Kage?"
"What do I need?" Where the hell are you, unknown? I've been here since eight."
Unknown looks at the time on his phone and sees that it's ten minutes past eleven.
"Oh, shit!!"
"Oh, shit is right." I've been at your door knocking and calling you for hours."
"I'm so sorry I overslept. I'm coming out right now."
Unknown hangs up the phone and starts to run around his house to get ready. Outside of Unknown's house, Kage sits on his motorcycle, waiting for Unknown.
"Tch, that guy can't believe he told me not to be late. the audacity."
Unknown comes out of his house with his usual school clothes on.
"Ok, sorry for the wait; I'm ready."
"Finally, let's go; we missed out on a lot of time we could have used training."
Unknown jumps on the back of Kage's motorcycle, and Kage revs the engine.
"Ok, here we go."
Kage and Unknown take off, driving at the speed limit, of course. As Kage and Unknown ride through Grava City, Unknown starts to think to himself about last night.
"What the hell was that last night? It's almost like I was regaining something that I lost, and with me regaining it, I got an increase in power, but I still can't activate level two. If what happened to me last night was me gaining more power, why did I get all those visions? Damn it, nothing makes sense. I'll have to do some research after we come back from the Moro zone when I'm free; maybe there is something in the academy's large library that can give me some answers."
"Hey, earth to Unknown are you with us?"
"huh??"
Unknown snaps back to reality and sees Kage standing on the sidewalk with an impatient look on his face.
"Oh, sorry, how long have I been spaced out?"
"Not too long, but are you ok, Unknown?" You seem a little spacey today."
"No, I'm fine; it's just something weird happened last night."
"Is that why you overslept?"
"Yeah, it's starting to bug me."
"We can talk about it after we train; let's get to the battlegrounds."
"Right, let's go!"
Unknown hops off the motorcycle and follows Kage into the Grava academy battlegrounds.
"Ok, unknown first, let's work on the flex technique. I want to up my power as much as possible."
"That sounds great, but first look over there; something is going on."
Kage looks over to where Unknown pointed and sees a crowd of students in a circle.
"Let's go check it out; maybe something interesting is going on."
"Right, let's go."
Kage and Unknown break through the crowd and see a stoic Paul and Seth having a face-off. Kage, with a face of concern, says:
"Oh shit the top student of Grava Academy with a few words to say facing off with Seth, the jealous, annoying, spoiled brat who will do anything to try to prove he's at the top of the food chain, this can't be good."
Seth gets in Paul's face.
"Hey, I heard you're a level two OGI user who refuses to use level two."
With a stoic look in his eyes, Paul says:
"I don't refuse; I just haven't found anyone strong enough for my full power, so I choose to only use level one."
"Hehe, that's a pretty bold statement for you to make. I bet you a thousand that I can force level two out of you."
"....."
"Hey, didn't you hear what I said? Respond, damn it!"
"....."
Seth starts fuming with anger and starts to stomp on the ground.
"You know what, fuck the money, let's fight right now this instance."
"...."
"Do you hear me!?"
"Sorry, I just think battling you is pointless and a waste of both of our time." I'm at the top of the school, while you're not even in the top ten."
Seth starts to grit his teeth in anger.
"Ok, fine, I'll battle you; it shouldn't take long."
"Tch, I'll show you who's going to make this quick. You people, move the fuck out of the way so I can get to that damn panel!"
The crowd around them scatters and starts chattering.
"Oh my god, we're going to see Paul, the level one demon, in action."
"I know; let's go to the spectating room right away."
Everyone in the area starts running to the room next to the battlegrounds. With many people now entering the spectating room, the room starts to expand. Since Grava Academy has the best technology in the world, the spectating room automatically expands when a lot of people enter it. Kage and Unknown follow the group into the spectating room.
"Hey Kage, what do you think?"
"Huh, about the battle? Paul is going to win without a doubt."
"Yeah, of course, but what I'm asking is, do you think he will activate level two?"
"For Seth, no way; didn't you hear him? He will only activate level two for people he thinks are worth it, and I'm telling you Seth is not worth it."
A familar voice responds to Kages question.
"Yeah, you might be right, but I'm wondering what Paul plans to do with this battle."
Selena suddenly appears behind Kage and Unknown. Hearing Selena's voice come from behind them, Kage and Unknown flinch. Kage turns around quickly.
"Oh, Selena, where did you come from?"
"I've been here the entire time, silly. Now look back up at the screen; the battle is about to start."
Everyone looks up at the screen. Nest has chosen an ice battlefield for their battle. Both Paul and Seth are standing on ice glaciers across from each other. Seth, with a face of cockiness, says:
"Ok, Mr.Number One, it's time for me to put you in the dirt."
