Chapter 82 - CHAPTER 82

"F*ck!"

Yuri cursed out loud, "Slade!"

The four artificially modified pseudo-demons lunged, converging on Yuri and ensnaring each of his limbs.

Despite Ripjaws' considerable strength, he couldn't break free from the simultaneous binds of the four demons. He was dragged downward, sinking rapidly into the deep sea.

Observing their actions, Yuri sneered inwardly. These demons probably intended to crush him with the water pressure of the deep sea. However, they didn't realize that his current physiology was adapted to withstand any water depth. Even at the deepest ocean floor, he could move freely.

"Splat!"

Just then, Starfire plunged into the sea from the air. Azure starbolt energy gathered in her hands, and she shot two beams of light at the demons beside Yuri.

The impact struck two demons, causing them to release their grip on Yuri's arms.

Freed from the constraints, Yuri burst forth like a caged beast. His waist arched instantly, contorting his body in a manner similar to a seated forward bend.

Then, he opened his massive jaws and ferociously bit down on the demon controlling his left leg.

Ripjwas' jaws could open to nearly 180 degrees, and his bite force was tremendous enough to easily tear through the outer armor of an aircraft carrier.

A crisp snap, and Yuri bit the demon's arms into pieces.

As for the demon controlling his right leg, it was suddenly rammed by a green swordfish darting over. The pointed snout pierced straight through the demon's abdomen, propelling them both forward.

Indeed, this swordfish was Beast Boy.

Meanwhile, Superboy, who had been accompanying him, was carrying Robin as they flew above the water's surface.

"Where's the demon who injured Bart?"

Unfortunately, Superboy didn't possess X-ray vision, so he couldn't see Deathstroke's location through the water's surface.

"No matter where he is, he has only one ultimate destination!" Robin squinted her eyes and said.

"We just need to circle around the coast..."

"Ah!"

Suddenly, Beast Boy yelled in surprise as he emerged from the sea. The demon he had just impaled remained unscathed. It had caught the swordfish's snout with its hands and forcefully hurled Beast Boy out of the water.

"This is a demon, unquestionably a demon! I'm going to tear you apart!"

Beast Boy roared in anger, instantly transforming into a great white shark. He opened his bloodthirsty jaws and bit into the demon.

In an instant, the demon was torn in half, cleaved at the waist.

Yet, in the next moment, the severed halves of the demon's body dissolved into light and reformed, automatically fusing back together. Not a single wound remained visible.

"Boom!"

Simultaneously, Starfire emerged from beneath the sea, each hand gripping a demon's neck. Enormous waves surged up.

Then, Starfire flung the two demons forcefully into the sky.

It's worth noting that the Tamaran's might isn't just limited to their ability to wield special starbolt energy; their incredible strength is also not to be underestimated. At the very least, tossing someone several hundred meters into the air is a breeze for them.

Starfire was seen hurling the demon five or six hundred meters into the air, then with a sudden burst of starbolt energy from her hands, she shot two beams at the demons in the sky.

A violent explosion erupted, and these two demons should have been blown to pieces.

However, just like the demon bitten by Beast Boy, in the blink of an eye, countless fragments reassembled, and the two demons were naturally resurrected.

Moreover, it wasn't merely a simple revival. After their bodies reformed, bat-like wings sprouted from their backs, allowing them to effortlessly float in the air.

"How is this possible? They were blown to bits, yet they're still recovering!"

Starfire exclaimed in astonishment. After roaming the galaxy for so many years, she had encountered many immortal beings, but she hadn't seen one that could instantly regenerate after their body was blown to bits. Even the fastest regenerating creatures she had encountered took at least hours or more.

"Hahaha!"

The two flying demons burst into mocking laughter directed at Starfire. "Foolish Tamaran! How could your wretched alien race understand the greatness of our god's power?"

"Great Trigon, please bestow upon me even greater strength to punish these inferior beings who dare defy you!"

These winged demons shouted fervently, their faces filled with fanaticism, as they drew unclear symbols in the air and chanted incomprehensible incantations.

The moment Starfire heard the term "inferior beings," her anger surged, recalling a certain painful episode she would rather forget.

"Go to hell, demons!"

Starfire roared, erupting with two more bursts of starbolt energy.

"Roar!" "Roar!"

A surprising scene unfolded: in response to Starfire's unleashed starbolt energy, the two flying demons unexpectedly spewed crimson flames from their mouths!

The flames collided head-on with the starbolts in midair. The small demons that Starfire had casually flicked away, after reviving once, were now somehow holding their own against the attack?

It's possible that...

"No!"

Starfire couldn't believe it.

The demons continued to exert their power, and the two streams of flames grew more fierce, quickly overpowering Starfire's starbolts.

The situation that had favored the Teen Titans just moments ago swiftly reversed, leaving observers almost unable to keep up.

"Uh-oh! Starfire can't hold on much longer. Conner, you need to help her quickly!"

Robin urgently told Superboy.

"And what about you?" Superboy asked.

"I'm going after Slade! "

"What did you say?"

Robin pointed in a certain direction along the shoreline, calmly explaining, "I've calculated that it's the most likely spot for Slade to make landfall. Throw me over there!"

Hearing this, Superboy hesitated.

"Don't worry about me. My glide suit will ensure a safe landing," Robin assured, knowing exactly what Superboy was thinking.

"Alright!"

Since Robin had spoken so resolutely, Superboy stopped hesitating. While he couldn't speak for others, he had complete trust in Robin.

Superboy grabbed Robin's feet and swung him around in the air.

One spin, two spins, three spins...

With a whooshing sound, Robin shot toward the shoreline like a flung projectile.

Immediately after, Superboy dashed towards one of the two flying demons in the sky.

Meanwhile, in the only battlefield submerged in the sea:

Yuri stared at the demon before him, his head aching.

He had bitten off its arm three times, its leg twice, its ribs once, and even its neck once. Yet, this creature remained undead; whether it was its limbs or its head, everything reformed instantaneously.

What's more, each time it regenerated, this demon seemed to grow stronger, becoming even more of a formidable opponent.

Thankfully, Yuri's underwater agility far surpassed that of the demon, rendering him relatively invulnerable for the moment.

However, he struggled to formulate an effective counterattack.

"This won't work. It seems I have to give that a shot."

Yuri then placed his hand on the small watch-like device on his left chest.
