At this moment, Harry's mind was a bit confused. Dumbledore and Snape's conversation had left him with many questions.
What is the relationship between Lupin and Black?
Why did Snape give potions to Professor Lupin?
After thinking about it for a while, Harry was still clueless and could only carry these questions into his dreams.
...
In the next few days, although the professors didn't make the students sleep in the Great Hall anymore, the prefects tightened their control over everyone.
No one was allowed to enter or exit the castle without permission, and prefects were assigned to escort everyone to class.
The portrait of the Fat Lady has been taken down from the wall and replaced by Sir Cadogan, who seems very excited and changes the password twice a day.
Neville is the biggest victim of this situation as he can't remember the constantly changing passwords.
Luckily, the school didn't cancel the trip to Hogsmeade this weekend, which relieved many people.
On Sunday, Arthur and Cho went to Hogsmeade with Hermione. Before they left, Arthur gave Harry a meaningful look.
"Are you helping Harry go to Hogsmeade?"
Cho keenly observed the interaction between Arthur and Harry as they headed towards Hogsmeade.
Arthur didn't have any intention to hide it and nodded naturally.
"Yeah, Harry got on his aunt's bad side, so he can't go to Hogsmeade in the normal way."
"So I let him ask George and the others for help."
"But Sirius's target is Harry, by doing this, you're putting Harry in danger."
Cho was confused. Everyone in the magical world thinks that Sirius is after Harry, so why isn't Arthur worried about Harry's safety?
"Cho, sometimes you can't just look at things on the outside. If Sirius's target is Harry, then why didn't he escape when Harry started his first year at Hogwarts?"
Arthur's question left Cho speechless.
At that moment, Hermione said, "Maybe he only thought of a way to escape after several years, or perhaps he only found out about Harry this year."
Cho nodded, agreeing with Hermione's statement.
Arthur had to admire Hermione's intelligence. She almost instantly guessed half the truth.
However, what Sirius learned was not information about Harry but about Peter Pettigrew, the traitor.
"The longer someone stays in Azkaban, the weaker their body becomes, and naturally, it becomes more difficult to escape. So clearly, Sirius only recently came up with the idea of escaping, and naturally, his target is no longer Harry."
After hearing Arthur's analysis, both Autumn and Hermione nodded, realizing his explanation.
Arthur took the two girls for a walk in Hogsmeade and got some gifts for Luna and Astoria in the castle.
Originally, Arthur wanted to take Luna out to relax, but Luna mysteriously declined and didn't accept Arthur's invitation.
After lunch, Arthur parted ways with Cho and Hermione, agreeing to meet at the Honeydukes later.
He then headed to the Shrieking Shack.
The closer he got to the Shack, the fewer people there were.
In fact, the Shrieking Shack had a deep connection with Sirius Black.
When Lupin was studying at Hogwarts, Dumbledore had him transform into a werewolf in the shack every full moon.
Sirius once even tricked Snape into coming here, nearly getting him bitten by the werewolf Lupin.
This is why Snape knew that Lupin was a werewolf.
When Arthur walked into the abandoned shack, Sirius Black was already there.
At this moment, Sirius Black remained in his Animagus form and transformed into his human form when seeing Arthur.
"Long time no see, Arthur."
Sirius seemed genuinely happy and unaffected by his failed mission at Hogwarts.
Arthur ignored Sirius's enthusiasm and angrily retorted, "Cut it out. Have you forgotten what you promised me?"
Sirius awkwardly smiled, knowing he was in the wrong, and explained himself.
"To be honest, I just wanted to see Harry. I didn't intend to catch Peter Pettigrew."
Hearing this, Arthur's expression softened. "Well, you could have informed me earlier. I gave you a communication tool, didn't I?"
Arthur had given Sirius an alchemical device similar to a phone used by Muggles in the future that allowed them to exchange messages.
When Sirius wrote a message on the device using magic, Arthjur received it on his device.
Sirius scratched his head. The situation had taken an unexpected turn. He unexpectedly befriended a cat and soon became good friends with it.
The cat had helped him steal a piece of paper with the password to Gryffindor, so he didn't bother Elvin.
Unfortunately, the password on the paper he received was wrong.
After listening to Sirius's explanation, Arthur understood the situation.
"That piece of paper belonged to Neville. He's the only one who uses a pen to write the wrong password. The paper you stole from Crookshanks is probably outdated."
"Crookshanks?" Sirius asked.
"Yeah, that fat cat's name. It's my girlfriend's pet."
Sirius suddenly realized, "Neville, the Longbottom's child?"
Hearing Neville's name, Sirius's expression turned somewhat sad.
He and Neville's parents were members of the Order of the Phoenix, and he learned that the Longbottoms ended up insane after being tortured by Death Eaters.
However, he quickly regained his composure.
"Did you see the news on the Daily Prophet? I guess people will soon suspect that Peter Pettigrew is dead."
As Sirius spoke, he became visibly excited.
For him, avenging James was the most important thing to do, with taking care of Harry coming in second.
He transformed Pettigrew's face every time he went on a thieving spree and chose his targets carefully, targeting people who had seen Pettigrew before.
Artbhr nodded to indicate that he had seen the news.
Then he looked at Sirius with a strange expression.
"I understand that you steal things, but what's the deal with the article in the newspaper about you spying on Mrs. Lutsen?"
