I groaned as I heard my phone ringing next to me in the bed, barely aware of where I was or what time it was. I reached for it, struggling to find it until my hand finally found the device and I groggily answered it.
"Hello?"
"About time," I groaned as I recognized the voice as my sister's, and I sank back into my bed. A part of me had hoped it was Luc, but I tried to push down my disappointment. "I haven't heard from you in days."
"Been busy," I mumbled, doing my best to rub the sleep from my eyes with my free hand, pulling my phone back to see the time. It was late morning and I groaned again as I realized Luc would be asleep. Hopefully he and Azger had made good progress and I sighed heavily as I brought the phone back to my ear. "A lot to do to stop Adam."
