When I came to, I was vaguely aware of Luc's arms around me and felt cramped in the space we were in. I had passed out as he flew us out of the forest that contained Eden, and I groaned softly in the darkness. It still felt cool, as if Luc was still partly mist.
"Then get her out of there!" My heart pounded as I heard Jinx's voice, but her demand was quickly followed by Lee's calm voice.
"You open that coffin and hurt her girlfriend, learning the truth will be the least of your worries." The pixie warned and I shook my head as I realized what he had said. Luc… I was in his coffin? How had we made it back to the house without Jinx realizing? "Lin is safe inside and after facing Adam, she needs the rest."
