"Lin? Lin?!" I could hear Bellas calling my name as I groaned, slowly rising up from the darkness I had sunk into. My mind struggled to wake up faster, but my body seemed to disagree and I found that I still couldn't move even as I moaned in response to hearing my name. "She's alive!"
Alive? Of course I was alive. I struggled to try and move my head, but my body still refused to respond wherever I was laying. I was still laying face first on whatever I was laying on and I couldn't tell if I was still on Trorith's body or if I was on the ground. I was surprised that I couldn't feel the weight of Luc's body on my own anymore, but the answer came in the form of his voice hovering over me.
"Lin!" the stress and relief in his voice made my desire to sit up greater, but the most I managed was another soft sound and I felt the pressure of his hand on my back. "It's okay, just… just don't push yourself. I'm so glad you're okay."
