I took a deep breath as I finished giving instructions to Cissi and Stella, trying to swallow my worry for Lin and Sarai. I knew where Lin needed to go, and I knew it was not a place I could follow. Only Virtues could enter the Garden of Eden, and I definitely was not one of them.
"Shall we call your father to give him our report?" Both twins asked me, their expressions blank as they spoke. I sighed heavily, nodding my head.
"Tell Requiem whatever you need to, although all things considered, I'm sure he has larger concerns than losing this little venture." I waved them off, finally heading for the front door. "Stay until Lin comes back, then you can return."
