I barely realized I had fallen asleep again until I felt Luc's hand on my shoulder, gently shaking me awake. I groggily pushed myself off the door, slightly embarrassed from the mark left on the window from me leaning against it. I groaned as I rubbed my face, rolling my shoulders to try and relieve the ache in my back from my wings.
"We're almost there." Luc smiled at me softly and I returned it as I tried to focus on waking up. I slid the jacket from my shoulders, sighing with relief as I stretch out the cramped feathers.
"How long was I-"
"Four hours." Luc interrupted me, looking to the front of the car as he continued speaking. I noticed a hint of a blush to his face, and I couldn't help my soft chuckle. He definitely watched me sleep. "You had said you were tired, so I didn't want to wake you up."
