This morning Luke was feeling good, after taking a nice cold shower. He eat breakfast prepared by Beatrice.
"It wasn't even delicious", lied Luke through his teeth.
" Sure, Sure mmm, but you eat everything didn't you?. the nerves to talk such bullshit''. Lucy retorted.
Luke snorted and continued to do nothing but go through his phone. He sure was enjoying the life of a lazy man.
"Lucy, don't you think this afternoon a lot of customers are coming here. and why are they looking at me like am the luckiest person alive. What's with all this envy looks".
A group of women walked into the cafe, they looked haughty and arrogant. They were holding their phones and doing a Livestream, once in a while their camera will face Luke's direction and they would giggle.
Luke frowned, he called one of his employees and said to him " There are too many customers today, increase the prices on the menu by 20 fold. The employees who was looking gloomy immediately rushed to the kitchen and told the rest.
After the guardian team received the order, they cried tears of joy.
The past few days has been hell for them. initially they were the personal security of Luke, when he was taking a break to freshen his mind, his guards were also dragged along to ensure his safety.
They didn't have to do much, but play along with Luke on his vacation of being a Cafe owner, the dishes on the menu weren't hard to prepare and most of them had been chefs before joining them.
So to put it simply it was a simple job where they would also relax, and it was so over the past three months until Beatrice appeared, since then, they have been receiving many customers and orders almost as if someone wanted them to earn some decent money but they weren't here to earn money.
For the past three months, their customer services have been horrible and the food on their menu were expensive as hell. This had always managed to keep people away, but now it wasn't working anymore.
After receiving the order they went out boldly and stood in front of the kitchen.
A customer walked in " Can I have a cup of coffee".
" Sure, it will 10,000 dollars, cash or credit card".
Luke who was sitting at the counter almost fainted, he looked at his guard like " yo is the cup made of gold or is the coffee an elixir of immortality" , he shook his head with a wry smile and continued to play on his phone.
" What a cup of coffee for ten thousand dollars are you guys crazy here, What do you think your coffee is made of? even if the coffee beans where made of diamonds it won't cause ten thousand dollars"
Those who had already ordered their coffee and were yet to pay spit out the coffee, those who had not yet received theirs breathed a sigh of relief and left silently.
"Oi Oi Oi, what do you guys mean a cup of coffee is 10,000 dollars, on the menu it was written a 100 which in itself was crazy and now you have the cheek to increase it by hundred fold, why don't you just pull a gun and Rob us" said a man with Great West accent.
An old man also got up and asked " are you trying to make it big with one leap, young man you should be humble and work patiently, aren't you afraid the heavens will crush you, how can you dupe honest working people like us, damn you even my life savings isn't up to 10,000 dollars."
And to think the Ice goddess will marry a man who does such despicable deeds" said one of the arrogant looking girls who were holding their phones and streaming what was going on.
They all glanced at Luke sitting behind the counter reading novels . He casually lifted his head and looked at the crowd he had infuriated with his absurd price.
When the Crowd got a good look at him, they were amazed. How could a man be so handsome, they shivered when they saw his black eyes casually sweeping over them.
Luke stopped his gaze at his employees to which he nodded.
With a nonchalant face " Why are you guys making so much noise", he said putting his finger in his ears while twisting his finger.
He then glanced at them with a Cold and wicked look, the customers felt as if they were frozen inside a lake and a big wolf was slowly approaching them, they started sweating coldly. The savage aura almost broke their minds.
"It's either you pay what you owe or you all choose a part of your body which you feel is not useful anymore or I will choose for you. You don't have much time".
Even the arrogant looking girls, who were streamers had never faced such a situation almost pissed themselves. Some of them were filled with regret.
They had all come here to see the "luckiest baster" of the century, but now they had to spit out 10,000 or lose a part of their body.
More built employees came out from the kitchen and started cracking their hands and neck, the customers were filled with despair.
Suddenly a magnetic voice sounded "Let them go", in a lazy way. The people looked at the bulk man as if waiting to confirm from him.
"What are you standing there for, should I walk you to the door, scram!"
All of them ran out of the Emotion Palace like they had been granted amnesty, and within a few seconds the place was empty. The guardian guards roared in laughter and returned to their stations.
Luke on the other hand frowned and asked Lucy, " What where those little girls saying?"
"Don't worry, you will find out very soon, by the way do you want me to do something about the live stream".
"No leave it, the More people that see it, the better it is, will keep them out of here for a while", said Luke.
" I don't think so, it will rather worsen your image", said Lucy.
"Lucyyy, What are you not telling me?". He found it quite suspicious, Lucy only behaves like this when something infuriating was about to happen, she will hold that information just to tease him.
After many failed attempts of trying to get Lucy to tell him what was going on, he gave up and decided to find something to eat.
After ordering pizza, he got a call from his secretary, he frowned but still answered, " Hello sir, I mean Mr pauper" said Regina with a suppressed voice, one could tell she was desperately holding herself from laughter.
Luke frowned and asked stop messing around what's going on, " Mr Pauper, I mean sir, you should have informed us you were getting married." she finally burst out laughing as she couldn't take it anymore. "What going on?"
"Sir, you should go to social media, you will find your answer."
