"Oh,by the way as you all know, you can't file a divorce within the next 5 years, this was a law in the Country, married couple had to wait 5 years before they would be allowed to divorce after marriage, this was because too many people got married and divorce way too early, so this law made so that people think real hard before getting married.

In the streets of Valdan City, a black Escalade ESV could be seen moving at a steady pace, in it sat four people, of the four people in the car Beatrice looked content with her hands placed on top of each other resting on her tights, she looked graceful and beautiful and with her in the back seat was Luke, who still couldn't rap his head around what was going on, In the front seat Ellen felt awkward as she didn't understand what was happening and more importantly, she didn't feel comfortable in another's man car especially if it belongs to someone who just got married to her boss without any reason, she could have swore she had never seen this man or heard anything about him from Beatrice, then she thought " is he threatening her in some way", she became more anxious. The only person enjoying this and who probably knew what was going on more than Luke and Beatrice, was John in the driver seat, who was enjoying the drama.
Beatrice might not know why Luke immediately signed the agreement and indeed, she didn't know, but John who knew Luke so well understood why.
