Raphael's POV
Why would Grandma think of betraying my trust? She is the last person I expect to punch me below the belt. Would it be her hatred for Lucia and her family, or her loyalty to our pack? Several unanswered questions ring through my mind as I lead Lucia into our chosen hideout.
Whatever the case, I'm not prepared to lose Lucia to the barbaric punishment. I know that by continuing to hide her I'm inexorably becoming a rebel. Might even be rejected by my pack and declared a rogue. And so be it!
I managed to outrun my father as soon as I heard Grandma's intentions. I knew he was headed to the park to meet with the traitorous Grandma. I headed straight to the castle, hiding and dodging her as she headed to the park. With luck, I succeeded in the taking her out into this dugout hideout.
