Chapter 139 - Dying

Before he knew it, the smoke swam at the speed of lightning to him. Reginald stared at his woman's unaffected eyes. His fingers balled to a fist while those peaceful dark eyes of his cracked crimson.

He faded into dark smoke, making Olivia's gray eyes turn wide. But it was quickly replaced with emptiness before she turned around swiftly. Reginald landed with a dark sword shimmering with a reddish hue.

He swung it toward her. Olivia dodged his strike with ease by leaning backward. Her hair danced along like it was enjoying the music this battlefield performed.

There were no words exchanged between them. Only the merciless clanging of swords and some kicks were heard. It looked like they were now lost in their world of endless battle.

Their swords hit each other and sparks could be seen flying from it. Olivia tilted her head slightly, a dark flicker in her eyes as she stared at him.
