Relief started to rush into her veins after she heard those words. Adele's stiff shoulders relaxed though she was still skeptical about her cousin's words. Taking a step forward, she sighed.
"That's a relief. That means, even though we'll be painted as people associating with the one who wields darkness, the Hayes are still going to suffer the hit?" Adele relaxed after she said this. She walked to the table and pushed a seat backward, before plunging on it.
"That daughter of a bitch... She thinks she can come out of nowhere and place accusations." She poured herself wine before downing the whole content.
Adele wiped her lips with the back of her hand. She sent a glare to the table while swirling the goblet she held.
"She killed my husband. I want her to pay for it. I want the entire Hayes to pay for it!" Her grip on the goblet's stem hardened. Veins jutted out through her already crimson face due to rage.
