Vanessa felt those familiar arms that held her body and it stirred her awake. She managed to move even though what accompanied it was a pain that felt like it was going to tear her body apart.

The servants felt bad for their Queen because they didn't know the cause of her problem. All they knew was that it usually happened a night before the full moon.
