The way she grabbed his shirt like her life depended on it made him frown. By instinct, his hands surrounded her frame and he helped her stand upright.
Olivia's lips moved while she stared at him with longing in her eyes. This was the first time seeing that kind of look from her. It made Reginald wonder why she was even wearing it.
"I..." She stuttered in a rough voice and swallowed in some saliva to lubricate her coarse throat.
Reginald taking note of how she was struggling to speak, ushered her back into her room. He made her sit on the mini-dining while he poured a cup of water for her.
Receiving it, Olivia downed the content sloppily. When she was some, she dropped the cup on the table. It made a thud resonate in her chamber.
But even after being revived back to reality, she still continued to stare at him in that way.
"Are you feeling better?" Reginald managed to pull her out of her reverie. Olivia nodded at his statement before biting her lips.
