Olivia cleared her throat and grabbed the hairpin from the table. Pursing her lips, her face turned a deeper red while she rose from the table. She did not know what to do because all of a sudden, the air in the room became hot.
Reginald also stood upright, towering beside her. His eyes were still on her before he removed them in reluctance.
"Get ready..." He trailed in a knowing voice, while his dark eyes kept skimming the inscriptions on the card.
"It's going to be the best thing you'll be seeing after the Prince's coronation." With that, he walked past her not saying a word. Reginald adjusted the sleeve of his shirt while he strutted out with a satisfied ghost-like smile on his face.
Anyone who saw this would remain pinned on the spot because the look on his face was so ethereal. They would not believe that the calm, expressionless face of his wore a smile that reached his eyes.
