"Oh... here she comes!" Raymond stated as he lifted his eyes to Madeline's direction. The blonde woman sent him a glare while her hands clenched by her sides in anger.
'The nerve of this man...' She cursed in her thoughts while trying to make her breathing pace normal. Madeline did not look at Lord Uriel's direction knowing he would probably be sending her death gaze by now.
She had to sigh for the umpteenth time while walking side by side with her eldest cousin.
Adele left her and returned to her seat. It made Madeline clench her jaw so tight because she realized the only seat remaining was beside Raymond.
But she had no choice. It was this or nothing. Madeline sauntered in Raymond's direction, not even sparing him and his family a gaze because of her anger.
She settled down beside him and tried her best nit to make body contact with him. The way her shoulders remained stiff was obvious to everyone. They depicted her rigidity toward the man beside her.
