Chapter 69 - Trust

"I'm not in the mood to talk to you," Olivia stated before turning around. She cast her eyes on the table before her and took a step forward.

Antonia summoned courage and faced Reginald, she swallowed in some air with an obedient look in her eyes. She seemed to be begging her Master because he wasn't saying a word.

The silence in the chamber was deafening that it threatened to break her eardrums.

Reginald noticing her discomfort nodded at her. A gesture that said she could leave them. Bowing her head, she left the room in relief, closing the beige door behind her gently.

Olivia heard the silent slamming of her door and she whirled around only to see Reginald rooted on the spot. Why was he still here? She frowned as she never tore her eyes from him.

Reginald exhaled before moving toward the Princess whose eyes followed him. Stopping before her, his defiant gaze made her want to look away. Olivia blinked thrice as she continued staring at him.
