Olivia turned to her side on the soft mattress. She exhaled while her lashes fluttered. The warm rays of sunshine sent a golden glow into the room. They kissed her figure, making her dark hair appear brown.
A frown appeared in between her brows and she pushed herself to sit up. Confusion was etched on her face as her gaze fell on the room, while her hands went to her chest.
Olivia realized she never changed into her nightdress, which made her frown deeper.
'I must have been so exhausted last night.' She thought. Her right hand scratched the corner of her while she accepted it so easily.
Olivia was about to help herself out of bed when a gentle knock resounded in the room. Sighing, she pushed the covers away from her lower body. "Come in." Her voice came out raspy and she tried to clear her throat silently.
