Maybe he was just overreacting because he saw her with Benjamin. Besides, his statement justified it! Olivia maintained in her head as she stared at Reginald. Her facial expression was now devoid of any emotion.
"It's just a conversation. In the garden. I'm not going to spend an hour with him anyway." She tried to convince him, while almost pushing herself from his path.
But Reginald did not let her move a bit. He was like a mountain that was hindering her movement. It made her furrowed brows deepen in worry because this was the first time he was reacting like this.
Reginald was acting impulsively. He did not know why he felt so threatened as soon as he sighted Benjamin. The look in the guest's topaz eyes were of a pure determination.
One that affirmed him that even though Olivia was his wife, he would try his very best to get closer to her.
