Soon, the tranquilizer began to take effect, and despite her stubborn struggles to escape, Seiran Hoshi fell to the ground, unwillingly succumbing.
"Alright, that's settled," Senichi clapped his hands, then turned to Conan. "What about Kid?"
"He fell into the sea. We have no idea where he is now," Conan shook his head. "I only found the 'Memories Egg' and an injured pigeon. Miss Seiran Hoshi hit him in the right eye when she shot him. His monocle shattered. He might be dead..."
"Death is unlikely for that guy. He's got quite the luck," Senichi glanced at the sea, a dark smirk crossing his face.
After all, Kaito Kuroba, aka Phantom Thief Kid, hated fish the most, and he happened to fall into the sea. What a twist of fate! Ah, the irony.
Soon after the police were alerted, Inspector Nakamori and his team started salvaging Phantom Thief Kid from Osaka Bay, and Seiran Hoshi was apprehended on the spot.
Regarding her identity as "Scorpion" Senichi provided two clues: "targeting the Romanov Dynasty's treasures" and "shooting Phantom Thief Kid's right eye."
With the leads Senichi provided, as long as the investigators weren't utterly clueless, they would soon be able to uncover her true identity.
As for the salvage operation concerning Kid, it was destined to yield no results. After playing with the fish for a while, Kaito Kuroba, aka Phantom Thief Kid, probably escaped from Osaka Bay long ago.
