Chapter 3 Terra's POV
1946 January 1
It was dark but comfortable. I can hear something but don't know what it is. Suddenly the warm feeling leaves but the space in front of me opens up. I see a kind-looking man he holds me up and places me somewhere warm. It felt nice. But then someone rubs my back really hard it was not nice. So cough and start to cry. After hearing me they stop. The person probably thought I didn't like it. They must have been nice but excited people. After these kind people dried me and by something warm on me and wrapped me up with it. I really like being wrapped up like this. I hear someone walking closer to me. He is crying but is smiling did someone rub his back too?
When he picks me up I feel the something I felt when I was in that space. I don't know if it's the feeling of his hands or his smell both are relaxing me. His face is nice too. He must be a nice man. I see the other person that helped out of the space. I smile at him but I don't know if he knows I am grateful. The person holding me takes me to another lady she… smells like the space. I hug the man like he was hugging me I liked it so I thought he liked it too. After I try to go to the lady with my hands ready to hug her too. When she holds me it feels like I am back at the space. I really like it when she holds me. I hugged her too. The man says we need to go home. I hope they will take me with them. But since this woman smells like the space I was hoping maybe she will let me stay with her. I try my best to hold on to her maybe she will start liking my hugs too. After the woman sits down and holds me tight and wraps a blanket around me. I can't see anything. I wish the woman would let me see too. I feel like we are moving but I can't see so I'm not too sure.
Once we stop I see a place. We go inside the lady does not let me go. I feel really happy maybe this means that I will stay with her. She is just like the dark warm place. But now I can see, this is great. Them the man comes and tries to pick me up. I like this man too he is the first face I saw and he helped out of that dark warm place. But first I want to hug this lady one more time. Ok now I will hug the man. His hugs are good too and he feels very gentle. I have been listening them talk I understand a little bit but they talk really fast maybe if they slow down I will get it. Oh how exciting it would be to talk like them.
Then the kind man places me on his knees and talks to me.
"Ok kid you are Terra Parvus. That's your mother Margarette Parvus. That's your father Chole Parvus. And I am your Uncle Michael Intium. I am your mother's childhood friend. And your father's best friend. Currently, your head is gonna be too hard for you to move. So instead move your right hand up and left hand down if you understand. "
Yah someone spoke to me and very clearly and slowly. This kind id very nice. I understood what he said so i moved my hands like he said.
Then he talks to my mother ans father. I don't really know what these words mean. But more importantly my name is Terra Parvus. I like it. Wait since the second is the same with father and mother does that mean anything. I have so many questions but i don't know how to ask them. I don't know why I can't make the same sounds as everyone else. But maybe i will learn for now I will try to listen and understand as much as possible.
"Why does it sound like you are gonna take Terra?"
I think My father said this. They are finally speaking slower
Michael replied and looking at Terra
"My dear child your head may hurt dealing with your idiot dad but don't stop loving him ok. We will all be leaving for the country of Versailles. If either of your remains it is possible to use you two to control Terra. "
So for some reason we are going somewhere. And we will be together. I am glad I want to be with my family forever. They are all so warm just like that warm dark place.
I make the I understand signal to show everyone I understand. For some reason father looks sad maybe he wants a hug?
Uncle brings me closes and plays with my hands and feet it tickles I can stop laughing. I like this. Heheheh
Father does it too.
Then my stomach makes a weird sound I feel something squishy under me i don't like the smell.
My mother says
Ok you two watch and memorize the procedure to the best of you ability. I will kill either of you if my son gets a rash.
I dont know why mother is so serious but I watch her and memorize how to change the 'diaper'.
It did not look too hard I think i can do it.
Uncle looks at me and nods I know this uncle knows how to do it. I look at father he looks like he is going to cry again. I should go hug him again. I this mean love right uncle said to love father. So I will keep hugging father so he doesn't cry.
After a very long time I finally can communicate with my family. I had so many questions when I finally learned all the signs. I asked my uncle all the concerns I had.

"Will I always stay you. mother and father"
Uncle smiles and signs back
"always no matter what I have to do I will make sure we are always together"
I like uncle so much

"thank you, now next questions are we in danger? Why do we have to leave?
Uncle signs back
"of course. And the danger part it complicated. Basically your smarter than anyone so bad people might want to use your smart to do bad things.Thats why later we will leave and go to a place where bad people can't reach you. But you need to learn your mom's and dad's powers first."
I don't understand so I signed
"what does bad mean and powers mean"
Uncle signs
"Bad means people who want to take you away from us. And power is what we call ability something you can do and no one else can do. you want see?"
I get at the bad people but uncle looks happy when talking about powers. i really want to see his. I sigh
"please show me"
Uncle hurts his wrist the the red thing comes out. Flies tgst what he was holding me with right so thats powers.
uncle signs
" this is my ability, your dad can make his hands hard, and your mom can pull and push stuff closer to her."
Wow thats amazing so everyone can do that. I can't to know mine. I heard make signs
"Whats mine uncle whats mine ?"
Uncle laughs and rubs my head Ahhh I like this alot.He then signs.
"Your using it. You have something called advanced thought. You are born smarter than anyone else. And you will only get smart and later you will be able to learn everyone's ability. And use them. But we need you to practice your mom's and dad's abilities as fast as we can so that the bad guys don't know about your real ability."
wow I will be able to use moms, dads, and uncles super cool abilities. But how do abilities work exactly.
i signed to uncle
"How do abilites work"
Uncle laughs and shrugs. Then signs
"no one knows actually you will be the only one in the world to understand that. But I can tell you thats all related to your mind and perception."
My uncle is usually so reliable give me answers like that is no fair. I pout. And uncle picks me up and huggs. My pout goes away I am weak to hugs.
After I am done drinking from mom. I sign to her
"Mom can I see your ability i wanna be cool like you."
Mother laughs. And says
I will show you. And let me tell you my power is way cooler than your dad's and uncles. You know your mom is super strong right. I was a young squad commander or a sergeant I beat up so many bad people. I even beat up your dad and uncle with they act bad.
I was awestruck. Mom is the best
I signed to let her know
"mom you awsome"
Mom laughs shows me her power. The blanket on us moves slowly away. Then comes back.
I sign to mom
"what to do you think about,
what do you fee in your body
what do you feel in your mind
any reaction happens before or after.
Mom laughs at me and says
"Relax my little researcher. Mom will explain it to you as best as I can. You father and I have been writing down everything we can think of when it comes to our abilities for you"
I started crying even before I ask for something my family always prepare it before I have the chance to ask. I hug my mom very tightly.
mom laughs and says
"Hehehe I am so luck today"
Mom takes out a notebook and hands it to me.She then says i am sorry it isnt alot abilities are almost instinctively so it tough to explain but we tried our best."
I give her another tight squeeze an ask her to call uncle.
Mom screams for uncle to come really little too loud. Uncle walks in tired. oh i'm sorry uncle but this is important.
I sigh
"I am sorry uncle but we need to practice mom's and dad's powers. Please help me. "
Uncle laughs and pick me up.
"Of course anything for you i though the drill sargent needed as something so i pretended to be tired."
Mom heard and said in a not so please voice
"oh so you pretend to be tired so i leave you alone huh"
uncle didn't hold back either.
"Of course if I was with you I would never get any rest."
haha they are so funny.
Me laugh makes them both laugh an end their fake arguments
Uncle takes me the living room. he moved anything that break away and the place was pretty open to being with so it will work fine .
I want moms power but dad's power looks easier to learn.So i tried turn to the notes dad wrote. And I was surprised there is a lot written there. Dad walks by he sees me came to kiss my head and hugs me. after when he was about to turn away uncle grand his arm and asks
How do you have so many notes?
As if dad was embarrassed he looks at the ground like a someone who made a mistake then says,
"it's because i'm not smart i have to think alot before the ability activate. also i wanted to be stronger so i spend some time reach my powers. I was able to make the steel spread from my hands to my arms but only for so long.
Uncle was impressed with dad for maybe the first time ever.
"This will help little Terra a lot great job if you got nothing to do sit down help"
Dad look embedded again and says
" I would love to but…. "
just than mom's voice came
"honey hurry up"
I dont get why mom's in a such a rush but uncle picks me up and call them " dogs in heat" and we walk to the backyard.
We live in the outskirts there are no neighbors for miles so i should be fine here. Uncle was still worried about bugs and the grass poking me so he used a thick sheet on the floor.
I opened the notebook with Dad's notes and ask Uncle with a sign.
