SERENE'S POV
I descended from the plane and smiled it's good to be home. My phone rang and l picked it up.
"Hello please good afternoon Ms. Vandie"
"Who are you?" I coldly asked.
"I'm the principal of Starhill College " the other end of the line answered. I wonder what trouble that rebellious girl has caused.
"Are you the guardian of Lena Mills"
"Yes" I grunted out.
"She got into a serious fight and we would like you to head to the school." I rolled my eyes at the tone she used.
"Is she hurt?" I questioned her.
"No but she…"
"Ok I'll be there soon" I cut her off after learning the important things then hang up. I turned to look at my baby girl and smiled.
"Mommy are we going home?" She asked looking at me with her twinkling eyes. The coldness changed to spring as I smiled.
"Nah but we are going to see your auntie"
"Yayyyy" She squealed happily and jumped making her ponytail swing. Her joy infected me which caused a smile to appear.
"Mommy you look pretty when you smile" l looked at her in shock then shook my head. What sweet mouth she has. I led her to where our chauffeur was.
"George send us to Lena's school" I told him after getting into the car.
"George do wait we'll be back soon" I said as we got down.
"No problem Ms.V"
After that I held Analisa's hand as we walked into the school. I shook my head when I saw her headphones on and she holding her iPad
"Lisa" She raised her head.
"Behave yourself" she nodded. I hope she does sometimes she can be a devil.
"Mommy you know I'm a good girl" She whined.
"If you say so" I muttered as we walked towards the principal's office.
"Please good afternoon how may l help you" The receptionist smiled at me.
"I'm Lena's guardian the principal called"
"Alright give me a second " She said as she talked through the intercom
"Follow me" She said as she led me to the office.
She nodded at me as I entered with my baby girl.
"Ms. Vandie" l nodded as l took my seat.
" Yes" I answered coldly.
"Your ward go t into a fight with her lab partner and ended up hurting her as we speak she's in the hospital receiving treatment".
"Did she start the fight?'' I asked icily. Knowing Lena she would never attack if not provoked.
"Then what was the reason the fight began and on what grounds do you have to lay blame on my sister?" I questioned her as I stared at her murderously.
Lenna would never fight unless it's related to family. And it's the same as all as me as that's our achielles heel.
"She didn't start the fight but she did... "
"Did what" I cut her off.
"Mrs. Perry from what I've understood so far you want to only punish my girl"
"You bitch how dare you harm my daughter" we heard from outside the office. I rushed outside and saw Lena about to get hit. I immediately rushed to her side.
"How dare you" I held the woman's hand as i asked through clenched teeth.
"Serene" I heard Lena whisper. I turned and gave her a look of assurance.
"Who are you?" The lady asked arrogantly.
"You don't deserve to know" I said then turned to look at Lena.
"I taught you not to bully but i never said to take it laying down" I said
"You should have done this when she wanted to do this"
"PAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAA" The sound of the slap resonated in the hall and the whole place became quite. Then I opened my purse took some hand wipes and disinfected my hands.
"Disguisting " Then i threw the wipes away.
"How dare you do you know who i am" The lady screamed shaking from anger and humiliation.
"The last person who harmed who had murderous thoughts about my family is dead" I stared straight at her like she was a corpse.
"Who are you?" She looked scared.
"Name"
"Melissa Dickson" I nodded and took my phone out.
"I want the Dickson bankrupt in five minutes and if they ask just let them know their Madam offended someone she shouldn't have" Then l cut the call.
In the next minute she answered a call and her face turned pale as she collapsed on the floor and she stared at me in horror. I just smiled in response.
"Let's go" i held Lena's hand as we walked out with everyone staring at us. Then l stopped
"Never judge a book by it's cover" I said to the principal then we left.

"So how was your trip?" Lena asked me.
"Perfect i enjoyed my holiday" l smiled.
"Mommy and l had so much fun. We saw many beautiful places in India and tried different dishes" Lisa added on and we laughed and she continued watching her cartoons on her ipad.
"So Lena how far has your powers increased" I turned to look at her.
"Well I've reached level thirteen"
"When i was your age l was already at level seventeen" I said reprimanding her.
" So where are we going for dinner?" I turned to asked them.
"Mommy let's go to that french restaurant" Lisa answered.
"you mean MONALISA"
"Yean let's go there" Lena hummed. We all got dressed and made our way out. when we got there we all ordered our favorite dishes, drinks, and desserts.
We made our way to to the parking lot immediately we finished eating. When we got into the car l felt like going to the washroom so l excused myself.
As i was going i noticed three men bundled a kid while he was strangling. I made my way towards them and got the kid back.
"Hello there kiddo"
He just stared at me with a pair of emotionless eyes. A kid should never have those eyes like he had exprienced the evil of the world.
"l'm Serene what's your name"
"Leo" he whispered out.
"Well that's a nice name" he just stared at me.
l took a closer look and saw he was hurt maybe that's why he was quiet. I held his hand and and led him to my car and got the aid kit to dress his wounds. i saw the girls were asleep and shoke my head.
I felt someone staring at me but l could care less. After dressing his wound l gave it a peg.
"Hey, don't worry it's gonna help it heal"
A blonde haired guy walked towards us and he kept looking at Leo.
"Leo"
"Hello is he your kid"
"Yeah he is my nephew"
"Then please keep a close eye on him. He was almost taken away"
The man looked at in shock. I wanted to release my hand but Leo kept a tight hold of it. I turned to his uncle for help.
"Leo release the lady she's gotta go" But Leo just held on.
"Hey how this, why don't l give you my number then you call me whenever you need me ands l'll be there"
"promise"
"Pinky promise" Then i linked our little fingers together.
He released me and walked to his uncle staring at me till l walked away.

"Your highness" I raised my head from the paper works.
"Has he been found?"
"Yes, but he got attached to the woman who saved him and refuses top eat if he does not see her"
My beta answered.
l raised my eyes and stared at my beta coldly.
"Who is she?"
"My king she's called Serene Elise Vandie" He stated at handed me the details about her. l brushed through and nodded.
"Ok, call her to come but do keep an eye on her"
With that he bowed and left my study room. I sat there thinking about her. Leo hated females touching him except my mom after his parents died.
Serene, she must be special for Leo to like her after meeting her once. I hope she's not getting close to him for other reasons else I'll kill her because Leo is like a soon to me.
