Enzo didn't need to search a lot to find monsters in this area. And while it was good to become stronger, it was also a nightmare when he had to rest. He cruelly lacked sleep, yet it wasn't as if he could stop fighting, could he?
As such, after walking between the trees of the forest, Enzo stumbled across a monster. It was yet another plant. A monstrous plant towering over Enzo easily. It had blue petals and a completely black body - if it was even its body in the first place.
Everything here was immense anyway, so Enzo didn't even flinch anymore after seeing the size of his opponent.
Moreover, he had fought against it multiple times now. He knew that whatever the petals of the monster were coming in contact with would be torn apart. Thankfully it was not he himself who experienced this, but rather one of his butterflies. He wouldn't be here to tell the tale if it was the case, after all.
As such, the weakness of this abomination was its body. And while it was big, and as such, was an easy target, it was also immensely resilient.
Though, now that his carnivorous butterfly was mid-grade, he wasn't that scared anymore. He didn't need to poison it and wait for its death anymore.
No, he could just send his butterfly and kill it.
Nonetheless, it was also clear that Enzo couldn't let his guard down. After all, he was still very weak compared to all the monsters here, so he needed to act with caution.
The moment the monster spot him, the latter ran as fast as he could toward it with his twin blades coated with the lethal poison of the poisonous butterflies.
He swung both of his swords toward the monster's body, making a shallow cut on its heel.
But even though it was small, it was enough to poison the giant plant monster.
However, right before he could step back, a shadow was cast over him before falling down to crush him.
"Shit!"
He managed to dodge it right in time thanks to all the dexterity he gained during the countless days in here. However, if he were to be a second late, he would have been crushed to death.
As he turned his head to look at what had caused this - as it was clear that it wasn't the blue plant that had done it - he was only greeted by vines about to whip him.
"The hell is that?" Enzo shouted in frustration as the shields of his protective butterflies were being destroyed one by one. Having nine layers of shield was really good, but not enough against the foe harassing him right now.
To make matters worse, the blue monster he was fighting started coming right at him as well.
'The vines, is it this monster?' Enzo thought for a moment while dodging the attacks of both monsters. On one side was the blue plant attacking him with its plant-like fists, while on the other side, the vines trying to whip him more ferociously every time he tried to dodge.
Thankfully his army of butterflies was here to grand him precious seconds, but even they weren't enough.
Right at the moment one of his low-grade carnivorous butterflies died, Enzo finally saw the monsters attacking him with the vines.
Since he came here, he always made sure to fight only one monster at a time, so it came as a surprise when another monster, -seemingly hiding itself - attacked him as well in addition to his original foe.
Nonetheless, there weren't many monsters with such strong vines.
As a matter of fact, he encountered this monster only once and survive the confrontation in a matter of seconds thanks to the poison killing it right before his heart was pierced. Yet he never managed to see the body of the monster as it was fully covered with vines.
Enzo quickly assessed the situation, his mind racing to find a solution to the double threat he was facing. The blue plant monster and the one controlling the vines were both formidable opponents in their own right, but together, they posed an even greater challenge.
He couldn't afford to be reckless or let his guard down. Each movement he made needed to be calculated and precise, or else he would be overwhelmed and defeated.
Enzo focused his attention on the monster controlling the vines. He knew that if he could take it down first, the vines would lose their deadly accuracy. With a burst of speed, he charged toward the vine-controlling monster, using his agility to evade its whipping attacks.
His twin blades danced through the air, aiming for the creature's vulnerable spots. He managed to deliver a few shallow cuts, but the monster's thick vines and constant movement made it difficult to land a decisive blow.
Meanwhile, the blue plant monster continued to pursue him, swinging its massive limbs with immense force. Enzo evaded its attacks with a combination of acrobatics and well-timed slashes, doing his best to keep both monsters at bay. However, it wasn't easy.
It became harder and harder to survive as he was getting more and more tired as time passed. Yet he couldn't escape either as he was sure that the noise they were making was attracting other monsters as well.
As he continued to battle, Enzo noticed a pattern in the vine monster's attacks. It seemed to focus more on its right side, using the left side mostly for support. A risky idea formed in his mind, but he knew it was the only way to gain an advantage.
With a daring move, Enzo lunged directly at the vine monster's left side, dodging its vines as they lashed out toward him. He managed to get close enough to deliver a powerful strike, cutting deep into the monster's flesh.
The vine monster let out a screech of pain, momentarily stunned by the unexpected attack. Enzo used this moment to retreat and regain some distance, giving himself a brief respite from the onslaught.
The blue plant monster, angered by the attack on its companion, charged toward Enzo with renewed ferocity. Right before bracing himself for the impact, Enzo used all his free stats points to get stronger. He wanted to use them to face the guardian of the dungeon, but a more important matter was at hand, right now: his survival.
Right before the monster could strike, a sudden surge of energy enveloped him.
In the nick of time, Enzo's body became stronger. He could sense his muscles and bones becoming sturdier, harder, and above else, healthier.
Enzo seized the opportunity of his newfound strength to dodge the blue plant monster and launched a relentless assault, striking at its weak points. The blue plant monster was overwhelmed by the onslaught and collapsed under the weight of Enzo and his butterflies' relentless attacks.
With one enemy down, Enzo turned his attention back to the vine-controlling monster. Its vines thrashed wildly, trying to catch Enzo. But the latter became way too fast. Moreover, he was relentless, wearing down the monster's defenses with a series of swift and precise strikes.
Finally, the monster faltered, weakened by the continuous assault. With one last powerful blow, Enzo delivered the finishing strike, and the monster collapsed to the ground.

Exhausted but triumphant, Enzo took a moment to catch his breath. The battle had been intense, and he had faced the very brink of defeat. Yet, he had emerged victorious, growing stronger in the process.
As he looked around the 'Fury Forest,' he knew that he was far from done. He needed to get out of there as soon as possible as he could already hear noises coming from right and left.
"Come on Enzo, one last push!"
With that, he fled from the place after harvesting butterflies, almost missing the last message of the system.
Almost.
