"There's a book I came across some time back, and its content confused me greatly." Her brows furrowed as the lie flowed out freely.
"What was it about?" Hector showed even more interest in her inquiry.
"Angels." Belle watched his expression change briefly, and she failed to read it. "What are your thoughts about angels, Duke Hector?"
There was a brief silence before he said, "No creature is entirely good and bad, you know?"
"My aunt mentioned that the angels are being hunted for their blood now, for what it is worth. Is it their fault that the blood within them is so potent?" Now the townsfolk even hate on us. She thought to herself.
