"Annabelle, would you like to pay a visit to Jade?" Philippa inquired from Belle. "I would pass her way while going to Bevylore."
Belle's eyes shone with happiness. She had missed the young woman a great deal, and she also wanted to blame Jade for allowing her to get caught while reading something dirty.
Ever since that night, Belle has been scared to read another one of Mrs. Short's books for fear of getting caught again by Kione.
"Yes, I would love to." She responded without a second thought.
"Then get ready." Philippa eyed the dress Belle was already wearing before leaving.
When Philippa left, Belle rummaged through her things to find the book, 'UNHOLY VALERIA'.
"Found you." She mouthed it to herself and quickly tossed it into her bag. She met her aunt downstairs, who was already waiting for her.
With her hand, Philippa smoothed the girl's hair that stood out of place before instructing her, "Let's go."
