"No, my mistress did." The woman said this while absentmindedly staring at the plain cloth. "Is there anything else?"
"Nothing. Don't forget to let Philippa know I dropped by."
"I will."
For a moment, the visitor hesitated to leave, but feeling Jade's focus now entirely on her, she forced a smile before finally turning to leave.
Jade frowned at the woman's back as she left, wondering why her behavior was weird. Paying less thought to it, she waltzed to the kitchen to prepare Belle's tea.
"Here it is." She announced as she placed it down on the part of the table that wasn't cluttered with threads or wool.
"I could really use this, thank you." Taking a sip from the cup, she sighed satisfactorily before placing it back in its position.
"If I may ask." Hesitation stuck to her voice as she waited for Belle to give the go ahead. Belle looked up at her with full attention before nodding. "How do you know how to do it so well?"
