Sylvester squeezed his face as the drops of water attacked his face. He jerked his head to the side as the liquid flowed down his face. He looked at her with dazed eyes, completely surprised by her actions.
"What was that for?", He probed with all seriousness in his tone.
Cordelia held a playful smile on her face. She couldn't help but laughed at the way his face looked like at the moment.
"You looked worried", she answered,
"So? Do you really have splash water on my face?",
"Consider that as my way of getting rid of that worried look from your face", Cordelia replied.
"Your way of getting rid of my worry. I must say you succeeded", he said those words and went ahead to splash more water on her face .
Cordelia shrieked due to his sudden attack.
"Tit for tat", Sylvester said before splashing more water to her face.
Cordelia returned the favor and they began to splash water on themselves like little kids. Giggling to each other.
Their little play graduated to the point where they fell into the warm spring. Getting their bodies and clothes wet but they seemed not to mind. They were engrossed in what they do to each other. They continued their child's play.
Cordelia looked genuinely happy but heavens knew that under that facade lied the real emotion. This was her playing along for now. When the perfect time comes, she'll show him her true intentions.
Cordelia laughed as she tried to swim away but Sylvester grabbed her before could get away from his grip.
"Let me go. I am already tired", she complained with a playful glint.
"Why? I haven't gotten rid of my worries yet", he spoke back with a small smirk posing on his lips.
"We've gotten our clothes wet. Aren't you taking me to somewhere before?", she asked.
"We can go there next time. We can't arrive at place looking wet", Sylvester said.
"I don't think we get out of water and getting our clothes dry. It was not my intention to get us wet",
"But you did, you shouldn't have splashed water on my but I am happy with the gesture".
Cordelia moved away from him and went to the flat rock.
Water dripped from her clothes and made the fabric stick to her body, accentuating her curves for him to see.
