[°Tip - While the zombies are divided into two groups, they are also classified in three types - the Runners, the Dwellers and the Nightcrawlers. And all of them are dangerous!]
"We are crashing!", the pilot shrieked.
"Fuck..." One of the soldiers said. He went to the window to look at the height they were falling from.
"Too high...." He said. "It's too high from the ground. We... We are definitely dead."
I started panicking too. This situation was not in our hands anymore. Heck, we were not even responsible for this accident. Lightning hit us out of freaking nowhere.
I can't think rationally. First I lost my real life and everything, and when I got a second chance, I am in a deadly accident again. It was getting really messy in my head, when someone slapped me into reality.
It was the other soldier.
"Don't panic kid." He said. "In these situations, it is best to keep your mind calm."
".... Yes." The pilot added. I remember seeing himself scared too when he announced that the vehicle was crashing. But now, he looked... Calm.
"You are in a problem. Can you do something about it?" He asked me.
"... What can I even do in this situation?!" I said.
"Then try to keep your cool. If we can do something about the situation, we can rest easy. And if we cannot do anything, then too, rest easy. Because if it is out of control - whatever happens, happens."
I looked at him. And then I looked at the other two. All three of them had one thing in common - they had eyes of satisfaction. Although they had tears due to them knowing these were their final moments, they were somewhat satisfied. Because they did their jobs. And now they are ending their lives while performing their duty - to help the innocents.
"Alright boy." The pilot said to me. "It was nice meeting you. You know what, I hope I meet my family in the afterlife. My mum, dad and my wife. Can't believe I am gonna meet them just after a day of losing them, haha." He said while laughing.
"We ain't gonna die crying! We did what was our jobs. And now, it's time to move on." The pilot said as I saw behind him, the view of us reaching closer and closer to the ground through the window, and then....
Everything went black.

I slowly opened my eyes and looked around. I was lying between a pile of burning, hot metal. It was the helicopter. I... I survived the crash, somehow.
But.. I was feeling weak. Really weak. It was not late that I realised that my left eye had been severely injured. Blood was flowing out of my face. I tried to stand up, but fell back down, because my right leg was broken. Not only that, but my body was heavily bruised, with cuts all over here and there.
I fell back on the ground and looked at the sky, while the rain poured on me. I could not feel any pain. Maybe because of shock.
Looking around, I saw them. The three men.. They were all, dead. None survived but me. But it was no use. I once again felt the same way I felt when I died last time. The last of my strength leaving my body.
But before I could die, I heard something.
"Hey did you hear that noise? What was that?" I heard a woman's voice.
"I don't know either." A man's voice was heard.
I looked in the front, to check where the noise was coming from. And there, I saw a man. He was a aged man, with white beard but developed muscles. And he was making way to the site where we crashed.
And then, I saw his face.
Suddenly, everything once again went black.
"Wait... What's this again?" I said to myself.
In this black void, I heard people walking and chattering. There were sounds of a car, as if a crowd was gathering around me. They were people. Survivors.
Music played (something like Goodbye by Apparat from 'Dark' series) while slowly everything else faded out and a cinematic sequence started. This was the opening sequence. A text appeared, reading -
[•DEAD x ALIVE•]
It was the title screen!
The name of the game appeared in this cutscene. And then, the name vanished. The cutscene wasn't over yet, and I was wondering what's next, when this text appeared.
