Chapter 6 - Welcome to UA

Nezu watched the pinkette that had been standing in his office quietly while he explained her 'expulsion' and re-enrollment. It was a process that Aizawa used to show them how easy it was to slip through the cracks if you were not cautious. So that they could take the experience and grow. However, it seemed that it didn't account for the oddity that was Sakura Haruno.

At least she was present for her second day.

"Haruno, don't misunderstand Aizawa. We appreciate your talent and we will do our best to nurture it to its fullest potential. But that will only be possible if you allow us, hence I hope that you'll be present for your classes from now on," Nezu said with a smile that he almost held at a constant. "And that you'll prevent taking any more actions to keep you from attending school,"

"Sure," Sakura tugged at her necktie to loosen its grip on her neck. "Though I'm going to miss homeroom,"

"Don't worry, I've informed Aizawa that you'll be a few minutes late," Nezu waved before clasping his paws together, "Have you settled into your home?"

"Yes,"

"There are no problems?

"No,"

"Have you met any neighbors?"

"No,"

"If you have any-

"Excuse me principle, it's the commission that deals with my lodging and I'm not particularly picky about where I live so long as I don't have strangers hovering over me. So can I please get to class?"

"Of course; welcome to U.A. Haruno,"

She nodded slightly in response before leaving the office.

Nezu learned a lot when he watched the pinkette's performance during the entrance exam. The way she fought was outstanding, her power mixed with a calm and calculated persona. There was no hesitating or moment of pause, yet she showed no signs of lacking in stamina even after all she had done. And when it came to the zero-point robot; she jumped in to save people and then spent the rest of the remaining time to heal their injuries.

Despite the harsh front she had shown thus far towards them. Nezu knew that she was a kind person; who was willing to commit self-sacrifice. Not just in a stable environment like the entrance exam, but in the real world just as well. A real potential hero.

However he was concerned; for such a young girl, she was cautious and vigilant. Not bothering to hide that she trusted no one. Even heroes.

Navigating through the school building wasn't easy when it had dozens of floors, wide hallways painted like roads but eventually, Sakura found the sign standing on top of a large door, several meters high. Likely to accommodate more people whose growth was above the average human.

When she opened the door, she first saw her homeroom teacher; Shouta standing in front of a blackboard, leaning forward on a desk placed in the middle of it. Then she examined the classroom, it was much smaller than the ones at the Academy, but there were far fewer students held in its capacity. Each with an individual desk, instead of the wooden desks that could seat up the three people, with their own plush chairs that could be adjusted.

There were also familiar faces; three exactly. All the boys she had interacted with during the introduction for the practical exam. Two of which she had argued within the auditorium.

'Oh great,'

The boy with the glasses spoke, "Aren't you…?"

"Nice to see you again too," Sakura gave a wave that looked more like a swat; her entrance attracting everyone's attention. Although she wouldn't have stood out next to the other students if they were lined up together.

"This is your classmate, Sakura Haruno," Shouta said blandly. The classroom began to stir after her name. She had placed first for the practical exam, and everyone that applied to the hero course received those results, including everyone in the class. No one besides her had gotten a score over two-hundred; in fact, no one had reached one-hundred in that time frame.

"She's the one who got first place in the entrance exam?"

"Her score was crazy,"

"Where was she yesterday?"

The spiky-haired blonde shot up from his desk, "WHAT THE HELL? YOU'RE THE ONE WHO STOLE FIRST PLACE!?"

Sakura frowned, "Stole?"

"Hell yeah Fivehead!"

"Again with that," Sakura gritted her teeth. She didn't even know his name but already he was giving her one to cause insult.

'I heard Kacchan but that's gotta be a nickname,' Else he had no right to be calling anyone else names.

"Listen up you-

"Chat on your own time and get to your seat Haruno," Shouta ordered. The class went silent under his narrowed eyes while Sakura went to her seat, still feeling stares on her. Without turning, she knew there was an especially heavy glare coming her way from the boy that called her Fivehead.

'Damn jerk,'

Uncomfortable wasn't how she would describe being in a classroom once again, but it had a loss of purpose. The regular morning lessons were all related to this world, and specially tailored to those who would use them in their day to day lives in the future. Sakura couldn't take an interest because she had no future here. Sakura wasn't interested because she had already resided her future to being a kunoichi in her world. And years of training, preparation, and effort weren't going to vanish in a few lessons in another. Some of the language lessons were too far ahead and used references to what she hadn't learned, the maths and physics lessons were too simplistic for her; the only lessons she could really hold focus was history and culture.

Sakura always had an aptitude for studying but she already felt that her time to sit in a classroom had passed. It made her wonder how hero training she was going to be for her.

The bell went for lunch and the teacher was already out the door. Sakura was about to make her way out as well when the boy in the glasses rigidly came up to her desk.

"Excuse me; I'm from Somei Junior High. My name is Tenya Iida,"

Sakura's lips pulled in a thin line; as she expected more of an outburst. "Sakura Haruno. Call me Sakura,"

"Sakura. Though you placed first, you were absent on the first day. Don't you believe you should set a better example as a student of this esteemed school?"

It occurred that this person might be what was known as a conformist.

"I was absent on the first day. Do you think anyone should be following my example anyway?" Sakura countered with a cheeky smile. "Besides, I've already been excused my the principle,"

"I see…Well I apologize for that time,"

Sakura nodded, holding up her hand in a truce, "I'm sorry too,"

They shook hands and just when she believed this situation would be tolerable, a loud voice boomed across the classroom.

"HEY FIVEHEAD,"

Sakura glared behind Tenya at the ash-blonde. It was like thinking you were walking a clear path, only to step into a sinkhole and have to climb out. If she had known first place would bring her this much trouble, she would have deliberately avoided the position. Not that she could help it when she didn't know the standard set for passing.

'One after the other,'

"Don't go thinking you're better just because you passed that shitty entrance exam! Just wait; I'll definitely crush you!" He pointed at her before stomping out of the classroom and slamming the sliding door.

"Seriously who is that guy?"

Tenya replied, "Katsuki Bakugo,"

That name belonged to the person who placed second in the entrance exam. He had seventy-seven villain points and no rescue points. Even though he achieved second place, his score was far from reaching her own.

'That explains it at least,'

"Hey Iida, we're going to the cafeteria," A girl called him. She had a slender but feminine frame-as most of the girls in her class had. Her hair was short, curved in at the ends, complementing her round face with rosy cheeks and big brown eyes. All her features would be commented as adorable.

"Uraraka,"

Behind her was the same curly-haired boy, Sakura had talked with before the practical exam. He went up to Tenya and they spoke as friends. Even though there was that commotion in the auditorium; they had clearly put that aside. It was impressive for a span of one day.

"Hello, I'm Ochaco Ururaka, it's nice to meet you Haruno," She greeted with a bright smile.

"Hello, Ochaco, you can just call me Sakura,"

"Okay, Sakura,"

She then turned to the dark-haired boy, "Hey; I didn't get your name last time,"

The freckled boy seemed slightly flustered as before, "I-I'm Izuku Midoriya,"

"Nice to meet you, Izuku," The boy's face painted red when she addressed him by his first name.

"Your score on the practical exam was really amazing," Ochaco said, clutching her fists carefully in excitement.

Tenya nodded, holding his chin, "Yes, it was impressive. You must have a remarkable quirk,"

That assumption would not be considered superficial in society, but to Sakura, it implied to reap without sowing. But without intention, she couldn't find it offensive. A lot of people had great quirks, and most could use them without difficulty, but it was different to be able to use power in battle than in practice.

"I guess,"

Ochaco chided, "Are you also going to the cafeteria?"

The pinkette shook her head, taking her lunch, "No, I've already got plans,"

After being in a classroom for hours, Sakura wanted nothing more than to get outside and have time to herself. The school grounds were on a hill leading to the mountains and there were a lot of forests and gardens built around, so she got a sense of nostalgia being outside, resting against the trunk of a tree, feeling the grass tickle her skin while she ate her lunch. It was soothing.

If only her companion had a better outlook.

"Start buying the cafeteria food," Hitoshi muttered chomping down on a rice ball.

"And here I bothered to treat you to lunch," Sakura pouted.

"Day-old convenient store sandwiches over gourmet cafeteria food for the same price. Yes, that's a dilemma,"

Her face was turning red, "It's not like I knew. This is technically my first day,"

"Who made you rush into a burning building?" He countered.

"Late heroes, and my luck," She huffed back.

Hitoshi wanted to know how her first day went since class 1A wasn't present for the entrance ceremony like the other classes. She told him about the quirk assessment test and how she had missed it because she started her day by waking up twenty minutes after the first bell would have gone. After that, she realized she was trying to dry a blanket in the rain. It didn't matter if she got there, she would still be late. And she'd be smelling like her first attempt at cooking.

"Yes, what misfortune; you get to be a hero. That's only the dream of more than half the population on earth," Hitoshi's voice was just salt disguised as sugar.

"It's not like I do this because I want to prove I could be a hero," Sakura craned her neck up to peek at the sun between the canopy of leaves. "I just did it because no one else was,"

"In other words; you're just a reckless idiot that pretends to know what she's doing? Because that would make sense,"

Sakura glared at him, "You….."

"Stop and think before you act. Or you're going to get hurt,"

"Oh? So you're just worried about me?" Her tone danced playfully though Hitoshi didn't answer.

"By the way, since this is your first day shouldn't you be getting to know your classmates instead of sitting here?"

She sighed. "Spare me. So far I've been berated by my homeroom teacher and two classmates whose names I didn't even know yet. I'd like to enjoy my lunch. Besides, you don't have to make it sound so sad; I mean you're here too!"

"You're the one who invited me here," Hitoshi countered with a slight smile.

Again she huffed. Yet grateful for the atmosphere created after that moment when things grew quiet and they could hear the leaves swinging in the wind.

"Thanks for showing up,"

"Thanks for the invite,"

She didn't want to go back into the classroom, but she was curious to learn if U.A.'s hero course was as golden as people made it out to be. In addition, there would be a special teacher for the heroics course. A hero that Sakura had no choice but to become familiar with as he appeared everywhere. On more billboards and posters than any other hero, and the topic of more recommended videos about heroes. The number one hero in this world; who had earned the title Symbol of Peace. All Might.

From clips, she could easily fathom why he was admired. All Might was the absolute embodiment of what a hero was in this world. He had a power that stood above all other heroes, and whether or not he was in action, a smile was always on his face. The only thing that was obscured about him, was his quirk.

When everyone returned to the classroom, the air was thick with excitement and energy as it filled with eager students ready to take on the course they signed up for. The atmosphere reminded Sakura of when she was in the academy and a genin Knowing nothing and yet behaving like she was ready to dance around the fire-only to keep getting burned. Her eyes clouded by her own naivety and cleared by reality.

No matter how many times she looked, back, a sliver of discontent would slip into her.

The door slid open and a voice called out to get the student's attention. Their eyes fixed on the giant of a man entering the classroom, dramatically leaning forward holding himself up by the frame of the door. His blond hair styled back with two tufts sticking up, his eyes deep in shadows with a lot of his face. In a skin-tight red and blue bodysuit, with a cape flapping as he entered.

"I can't believe it! All Might's really gonna be teaching us!"

"He's wearing his costume from the silver age! Its style is so different it's giving me goosebumps,"

Sakura observed the number one hero closer than her classmates and she felt assured that he wasn't just for show. Her instincts went off the second she met his eyes. As the Symbol of Peace in this world, of course, her classmates were at ease, but for Sakura, someone who had developed the sense to gauge power it was different. She could tell that this man was clearly on a different level than the other heroes she encountered.

'Not bad,'

He smiled widely, calling out in a booming positive voice, "Welcome to Hero Basic training! It is a subject you train in different ways to learn the basics of being a hero. You'll take the most units from this subject. Let's get right into it! This is what we'll do today!"

He pushed a card out in front of the class reading 'BATTLE' in bright red letters. Then pointed to the compartments appearing from the wall with suitcases containing each student's hero costume. Again the class grew rowdy in excitement while few kept their composure.

"After you change, gather at Ground Beta!"

Costumes for heroes were more than just colorful skintight bodysuits and capes. Most were customized to suit and enhance different quirks. By basing suites off quirk registration forms, it became possible to create the most efficient costume designs for individuals. Sakura didn't need any of the sorts but was still required to send in her measurements and draw a baseline for what she wanted.

She didn't put much effort into relaying the design of her costume in her forms; but paid excruciating detail into the making of a new headband, order the Konoha symbol to be engraved, along with her support items that included a bag for medical items and weapons. The lack of detail for the rest of her costume design left a lot to the imagination that even she wasn't fully prepared for what she would receive.

Most of the girl's costumes wore bodysuits, while one wore nothing but boots and gloves due to her being invisible, and another in dark loose-fitting clothes.

The red dress Sakura wanted was shorter in length and tighter than anticipated; kimono styled instead of qipao, black trimmings instead of white, black elbow protectors, and gray boots in the ninja-sandal style she specified. Under her dress, she kept her black shorts and tank top. She had no complaints about the costume once shes saw the headband, mimicking the exact appearance of her former forehead protector.

For the war, she and the shinobi from the other villages wore headbands indicating that they were a part of the alliance but when she was transported into the lava dimension by Kaguya, it had fallen off.

It wasn't the original she had earned, but it was as close to home as she could get right now.

Everyone entered Ground Beta through a long tunnel which brought them into another replica of a city mirroring the ones from the entrance exam. The entire class was suited in their costumes, capes, armor, tights, and all. Some really took attention to being as presentable and eye-catching as possible. Compared to the rest of her classmates, Sakura was under-dressed.

All Might complimented them, before explaining the combat exercise for that period. "For this class, you'll be split into villains and heroes and fight two on two indoor battles."

A question was raised that they were going to be doing this without basic training, but All Might pointed out that practical experience taught basics. And when the rest of the class started bombarding him with questions, he pulled out a script to explain the rules.

"Here's how it works. The villains have hidden a nuclear weapon somewhere in their hideout. The heroes are trying to dispose of that. The heroes need to catch the villains or get the nuclear weapon back in the allotted time. The villains need to protect the weapon for that whole time or capture the heroes. Teams and opponents will be determined by drawing lots!"

'It's like a game,'

This was a good way to train, by creating simulations of situations that they would likely experience as heroes. She had to do training like this as well when she was in the academy and even when she became a genin.

When drawing lots, everyone was first divided into their teams. The purpose of not allowing them to pick and choose was to mirror the common occurrence of teaming up with heroes spur of the moment without prior knowledge of their fighting styles. It wouldn't have been too far out there to think that they were also being graded on cooperativeness.

The sphere she grabbed had the letter J painted neatly over. A boy with wild red hair standing at more angles than Naruto's, and very pointed teeth holding a wide grin, eyes shining with excitement.

"Haruno hey looks like we're partners for this; I'm Eijiro Kirishima,"

"Yeah. You can just call me Sakura,"

"Great, can't wait to see what the first-place student can do!" He punched the air.

She was curious herself about the quirks her classmates possessed and she enjoyed the combat. You had to have some degree of appreciation when you were involved in fights the way she was. And she was able to witness it from the many camera angles within the buildings where the exercises would be taking place.

In the first match, were the four students Sakura had been introduced to. Katsuki Bakugou and Tenya Iida, who was the villain's team, and Ochaco Uraraka and Izuku Midoriya as the heroes. The rest of the class was sent to the monitor room with All Might to view the match. Everyone would have fifteen minutes to win.

The first match resulted in the hero team winning, but Tenya and Katsuki were the ones standing when it was finished. Izuku and Katsuki engaged in a one on one fight when the latter attempted to ambush the hero team, specifically aiming for the curly-haired boy. The look in his eyes holding a hateful fire she could recognize leaned towards personal grudges and disdain. Just as Sasuke and Naruto used to look at each other before they became friends. Though it was only Katsuki who had that look.

While the rest of the class couldn't hear what was being said, as there was no audio with these visuals; Sakura could read lips and have learned a lot about her classmates and their quirks.

During the first match, Katsuki had used his explosion quirk and weaponize grenade-themed braces to destroy part of the building and Izuku revealed to have enough strength to create such a force with his punch that he tore through the building's ceiling. Needless to say, their actions were chastised, as it wasn't considered ideal or smart to destroy a building holding a nuclear weapon.

She realized that Izuku's punch broke his arm, and that combined with an attack from Katsuki's explosion, knocked him unconscious and had him sent to the nurse's office.

As the matches went on, it was apparent the difference in experience between herself and her classmates. Though their quirks were marveling. The second match, a boy, Shouto Todoroki, froze the entire building along with his opponents and then unfroze everything just as quickly after capturing the weapon having the best time for the exercise. There was a girl Momo Yaoyorozu who could create any item. Another girl Mina Ashido was able to produce acid from her hands. Their powers were all impressing.

'Still, this system…..' Sakura breathed deep, rubbing her neck. 'I can't believe they only start serious training now,'

She craned her neck up to see the building; counting five floors where the villain team would either be guarding their weapon or plotting an ambush.

"Don't worry Sakura, I've got your back!" Eijiro assured, hitting his fists together. "While we're waiting, want to hear about our opponent's quirks?"

"Sure, Hanta Sero and Rikido Sato right?" They were supposed to wait outside for five minutes to allow the villain team to prepare their base for the hero's arrival. The heroes were given a blueprint for the building, but neither bothered with it, for their own reasons.

"Right. Sero can shoot tape from his elbows, so be careful not to get caught by that. And Sato, I don't know the details of his quirk but I know he can become super strong,"

"Got it," Sakura adjusted the earpiece.

"Oh and my quirk's called hardening," Eijiro showed her his arm, his skin becoming cracked and overlapping like stone. "It's not very flashy but-

"It's impressive, you can go on the offense while keeping up a defense,"

"Yeah, I guess," Eijiro rubbed the back of his head, "What about your quirk?"

"Mine can make me strong," Sakura decided to give a generic answer. She didn't even have a quirk but she was listed as having two quirks which were also rare. And not true but it wasn't her fault, since the agent told her to write that down on her forms, she just didn't bother to correct him. Their assumptions weren't her fault.

"Oh, so that's how you took on those robots in the entrance exams."

Shinobi were taught to be as tight-lipped as possible to protect themselves, their abilities, techniques, and the secrets of their village. And considering the measures that many would take to get a hold of that information; methods involving torture, interrogation, kidnapping, and worse; she wasn't just going to write everything down on paper. Especially after being told that she should list any weaknesses about her 'quirks'. It simply didn't sit well with her. Protecting her identity was also part of the reason.

'Nice to be in a building that isn't on fire,'

Sakura and Eijiro didn't find anything suspicious while they were scouting through the halls. With a short time, the villain team would have to prepare for the hero team's arrival, most would just stay with the weapon to guard instead of going after the heroes. Rationally it made more sense since no one had engaged in real combat and it would save time and effort. The hero team only had fifteen minutes to either capture the villains or the weapon.

'This means ambushes are unlikely,'

"So what do you think? Where could they be?"

"I doubt it would be the first or second floor,"

"Why do you think that?"

"Because in the other matches a weapon was either on the third floor or above," In a matter of observation, Sakura could easily pick up the pattern and strategically, it didn't make sense to hide something at a low point where it would be easier to find.

Eijirio exclaimed, "All right, let's go get that weapon!"

"You should still be a little cautious about someone hearing you," Sakura added. Being the seeker did at least give her another chance to try out that sensory jutsu she used the other day.

When they were on the second floor, she placed on hand on the wall to her right and allowed her chakra to seep through the structure of the building to examine the structure and find two life sources. It had taken some time, but she detected them on the fourth floor. The chakra signatures in this world were all weak; even compared to the civilians in her world.

It had her thinking how it was possible when more than half of the population had some sort of power, quirks inherited or evolved and none of them could use chakra. All depending on their single-physical ability. Their quirk. Through her research, she hypothesized that being in a different world likely meant that there were different types of humans. Evolution came to mind, but she didn't sink too deeply into that history. Since learning that the appearance of quirks was an anomaly of which its origin hadn't been confirmed.

She was from a world governed by chakra and this was one governed by quirks. Now if she could just figure out how to connect these two worlds so she could return to her own. She attempted to use summoning to bring Katsuyu into this world. Doing that, she could use her summoning to send herself back to her world. Sasuke had managed to do a summoning when they were first brought to one of Kaguya's dimensions; but no matter how much chakra she used or how many times she tried, Sakura ultimately met with the same disappointing results. Another reason she wasn't fond of this world.

Despite knowing where the opposing team was, Sakura kept it to herself. She only meant to do a small experiment, but with their time and her analysis, they were rushing through the building anyway.

Eijiro glanced around the corner and started running across the hall when they got to the third floor, "Let's hurry before we run out of time!"

When comparing their footsteps, Eijiro's was the only ones heard while Sakura ran agile and silent out of habit. She knew that they weren't going to find anyone on this floor, but even so, she still thought that red-head was being loud. Charging forward with his guard down.

'Then again, I might not be any better,'

Although they were on the fourth floor, no traps had been set in response to their arrival, and finding the weapon and villain team was easier than expected as they hadn't even bothered to close the doors to make them look.

The paper-mache weapon stood on the far end of the room, strips of tape connected to the pillars and walls created a barrier protecting it. And the villain's team guarding it from the front; Hanta and Rikido.

Hanta Sero; was lean in stature with almond-shaped eyes hidden behind the visor of his hero costume, dark hair, spiked downwards. His exposed elbows had a round curve and were wider than normal. Rikido Sato had the most muscular build-out of everyone in class 1A; short brown hair peeking from his yellow full bodysuit.

"Bout time you showed yourselves heroes!" said Rikido.

"You're going down villains!" Eijiro bumped his fists together as he hardened his skin. His body now holding jagged edges. Based on exteriors, the villain's team assumed Rikido would be best suited to handle Eijiro while Hanta dealt with Sakura.

The pinektte wasn't looking at them, rather focusing on the tape sealing the weapons. As they prepared to attack, Sakura took out two throwing stars from her pouch.

'Let's keep things simple'

She threw it straight towards their opponents, their was clear panic as the sharp edges of metal drew closer, but swirled around their bodies and around the set of pillars cutting through the tape clearing a path to the weapon.

"Whoa crap, she cut the tape!" exclaimed Rikido.

Rikido looked behind him, "What the-

Eijiro took this chance to run for the weapon, "Nice one!"

"Let's go!"

Smiling, she started running towards Hanta and Rikido. In response, Rikido extended his arms to keep the Eijiro from passing. Sero bent his arms exposing his elbows, streams of tape shot out towards Sakura. She kept running straight until the ends of the tape were barely a centimeter from touching before she crouched gliding across the floor and effortlessly bringing herself back up. Without a moments pause to catch her footing.

"Hey!"

Hanta turned around, slightly disoriented before taking aim to keep the pinkette from reaching the weapon, his tape flew towards her back. She hadn't even turned around when she jumped between the spaces of the tape, her body maneuvered perfectly through in the air.

"Oh crap!" Hanta took to chasing after Sakura to close the distance before he took aim and fired once again trying to wrap her up. But just like before, she avoided his attack with barely a glance behind.

"Stop her!" Rikido yelled, still keeping Eijiro at bay, a few marks on his face from where the red-head managed to land a punch.

"Go Haruno!"

Before another attack could be aimed, she had reached the weapon in the closed space. Ending the match with the hero teams victory.

"Hero team wins!" All Might's voice echoed in the earpiece making Sakura flinch. Eijrio ran up to her, raising his right hand.

"Yeah!" She gave him a high five. "That was awesome Haruno,"

"Thanks and it's Sakura,"

"So cool the way you used those throwing stars, you were like a ninja!"

She gave a small snort, "Yeah; like a ninja,"

Toshinori Yagi, under the hero name All Might had been warned with the entire U.A. faculty about Sakura Haruno. The top student for the entrance exam and great troublemaker who committed acts of vigilantism after avoiding authorities for weeks. Shouta Aizawa was especially incensed by her. Though from first glance, one would see nothing more than a young girl with sharp eyes and tongue.

He hadn't thought much of her as a student, aside from the unusual circumstances that led her to be enrolled at U.A. despite her behavior and actions. According to her registration form and a video, she possessed two quirks. Super strength and healing.

It was rare, especially for a combination like that to occur but he had been looking for her to use it against her opponents. He was surprised to see that she instead chose to evade attacks with a level of awareness first-year students were meant to develop. She was quick to observe the situation quickly and showed to have experience with weapons. Not a common attribute when quirks were considered a heroes only weapon. Especially not at this age and for someone with a strength quirk.

'Her skills are not bad, and her instincts are sharp enough to evade attacks so easily,' He realized that she and Eijiro had won the match without her using her quirk all while returning with no damage.

All the other students were eager to show off their quirks, it was one of the main reasons people yearned to become heroes in a society that restricted the use of their unique abilities. From reading her record though, she clearly wasn't like that.

"Well done Kirishima and Haruno!" He exclaimed when the two teams came back from the building. "That was a splendid performance. You managed to work together to obtain the weapon without damaging the base nor yourselves in the process. That was splendid,"

The pinkette nodded and returned to her classmates while Eijiro gave his thanks. After a brief evaluation of the match, the commenced with the next.

"I mean it All Might. Keep a close eye on her and if she does anything unorthodox or if you think she might. Step in immediately. We can't have her creating chaos at the school,"

"Don't you think that's a bit much?" Toshinori asked Shouta.

"We haven't been able to find a record of the girl despite a continuing investigation to track her origins. She's made no effort to come forward with information that could help us. And though it was to save others she has broken the law and doesn't show any remorse for her actions. Basically, we know too little about her to believe she isn't a potential threat,"

"Then why allow her into U.A?"

"Because the association believes it would be better to have a hero with a quirk like hers than a villain,"

Perhaps she was someone to keep an eye on.

At the end of class, All Might took his leave before they even stepped out of Ground Beta. Leaving the students to change back into their uniforms and return to class. While in the locker room, Sakura overheard the girls talking.

"What's the matter Uraraka?" asked Toru Hagakure. She was an invisible girl; literally, her quirk made her invisible.

"I'm worried about Deku,"

"Deku? You mean Midoriya?"

"Yeah, I wonder if he's alright now?"

Looking back at the first match, it had been the most violent and destructive out of all. Mostly on account of Izuku and Katsuki's fighting. That building was going to need major repairs for what they did, Sakura was surprised the structure was still able to hold strong and didn't just collapse.

She changed out of her costume, keeping the headband, and was the first to leave the locker room, in search of the nurse's office.

"The school years just started and he's already been here three times! Why didn't you stop them All Might!?"

"I'm sorry Recover Girl,"

"What are you apologizing to me for? It was only yesterday he was suffering from exhaustion and now look at him! I can't treat all those injuries at once! We can only wait for his body to heal overnight,"

Listening in on what you determine as private conversations or arguments was something you picked up and refined as a shinobi. Though she didn't think anything about the conversation other than the chastising that a nurse would often give to those reckless and negligent who in this case was All Might and she was about to knock on the door until she heard.

"Jeez I know that you granted your power to him, but that doesn't mean you should spoil him!"

"I hesitated to stop the match because I wanted to consider his feelings. Even so, can you please not be so loud discussing One for All?"

"Yes, yes, Mr. Natural-born Hero. Mr. Symbol of Peace," Sakura could hear the sarcasm from Recovery girl. And that made her just curious enough to keep her presence hidden; while sliding the door a crack in complete silence to peer through and see inside.

From her position, she had a narrow side view of Chiyo speaking to a man in All Might's costume, only unlike All Might the fabric hung like drapes on his gaunt form. His cheeks were hollow, and his face was sharp and lean. Skeletal was something that would come to mind when looking at him. And this was the legendary Symbol of Peace.

Although neither knew she was there, it seemed that they managed to answer her silent questions.

"My injury and this form of mine are common knowledge among the teachers of U.A. but the secret of my Quirk One for All is known only by you, the principal, my close friends, and Young Midoriya,"

'And Young Sakura now,' She thought.

"I know it's not like you want to rest on your laurels at the top, but is being a 'natural-born hero ' and the 'Symbol of Peace,' really that important?"

"If I no longer am, then the super-human society would be seized by evil. That is the responsibility for those of us with this power,"

"In that case, it's even more important that you learn how to guide him properly,"

So the greatest hero was actually a fading hero and had secretly found a successor. Passing on his power; which wasn't recorded as a possibility in this world. Even knowing all the details, Sakura wouldn't have guessed that the polite and somewhat skittish Izuku Midoriya was preparing to become the next Symbol of Peace. Although she hadn't been in this world for too long; she knew where All Might stood in this world. At the very top.

The content of the information wasn't her priority but the fact that this was confidential, limited information is what made her see the value in it. A card she didn't know what to do with yet but still held it with content.

'Looks like you do learn something new in school every day,'

It sounded like Izuku was going to be fine, and if she went in now, there was no way to determine the results. She only had to be at the hospital at four and there was no teacher in the classroom, just students reviewing the exercise.

She grinned, throwing her hands behind her head. 'Guess I'm leaving early,'
