"You look like you've grown taller than the last time I saw you," Felicia said to Jake as she cupped his chubby cheeks.
The latter didn't respond much but only managed to break a smile on his lips so things wouldn't look too awkward.
It was the weekend and as discussed, Erika had brought Jake to come see Felicia. She had to force him to come see Felicia since he didn't agree to come for the past two weeks.
Erika finally understood why Jake had been acting so detached from Felicia. After much thinking, Erika finally decided to ask Jake why he didn't like being around Felicia, and he replied by saying that the people at the orphanage always told him that his mother was a criminal, and always caused her trouble.
Erika didn't know what to think.
She didn't know if she should continue letting Felicia see Jake or not. The answer was obvious and Erika couldn't help but release a sigh.
