"He said that I am a useless woman and that I am poor so he kicked me out so that he can marry Erika now that she is rich," she replied softly.
Mrs Evans felt pity for Felicia so she cooed her in her arms and petted her while whispering comforting words to her.
Felicia smirked, knowing her mother bought her story. Even though Erika was not the main reason that Adrain threw her out of the house, Felicia still believed that it was. She had a feeling that Adrain would go looking for Erika now that he had found out about her adulterous affairs. She blamed Erika for everything even though the latter had nothing to do with her anymore.
