Dai Jiro let the press exhaust themselves out before calmly saying "Ladies and gentlemen...don't worry...Feilan Fashion will give a satisfactory explanation today
"And to our dear friends from the press...am sure you'll all find it that you won't miss out on some good headlines so pay attention" Dai said leisurely and the press laughed at his blatant remark and easy going attitude.
The atmosphere was more calm and easy...this was the power of Dai...he knew how to keep the crowd calm and in control.
Seeing that he had everyone's attention...Dai suddenly said "I've never been one who liked mixing family and business together but recently I learned that some people are a bit too much"
Everyone was confused as to why he would say that but they still snapped furiously and those who were watching online and on TV didn't get the statement either but they waited for Dai to break it down.
Dai sighed with a complex look in his eyes before saying "Our Chairwoman Miss Shao Feilan didn't want to go this far because she still valued her family but they're truly starting to go way too far beyond her bottom line"
Dai made sure to emphasise the word family in this statement.
Everyone's curiosity was piqued 'Why was Dai Jiro suddenly speaking about the Shao family....was he about to break out some shocking news about them'
Dai looked at the crowd and said with such sad eyes that even the crowd felt sad for a reason they didn't know yet
"Like I said before....our Chairwoman didn't want to go this far but she has been pushed too far in the corner to remain silent any longer"
Everyone held their breathes ready for the earth shattering news.
But Dai didn't immediately say what they wanted to hear...he first played with their emotions a bit more
"I hate bringing this topic up but am sure the whole world is already aware that Miss Shao Feilan is the adopted daughter of the Shao family"
Everyone looked at each other and nodded.
"What does this have to do with Feilan Fashion's current situation Mr Dai" a reporter asked and everyone else nodded in agreement.
Dai looked at them and said "Everything...it has everything to do with the current situation but anyway I won't speak more than I have to"
Dai then said "Four days back many customers alleged complaints against Feilan Fashion for scamming and after investigations...it was found that many of the products at our two main distribution branches were fake
"Feilan Fashion didn't immediately give an explanation and thus we incurred alot of losses as we were investigating what really happened"
The room was so quiet and everyone listened attentively.
"So today we shall explain exactly what happened"
Suddenly Dai turned his gaze towards the entrance of the conference room.
Everyone turned their gazes and cameras towards the entrance curiously.
To everyone's shock two people walked in...one a man in his late thirties and the other a lady in her late twenties.
They were dressed smartly in suits.
The man was a bit on the chubby side and the lady had too much makeup on...it seemed like she was desperately trying to look good but ended up looking a bit off.
Everyone noticed that though the man was walking with a light air of arrogance...the lady seemed rather nervous.
The two walked towards the stage and stood their silently.
Dai narrowed his eyes dangerously at them before smiling lightly 'These catalysts for destruction had finally arrived....well it was time to put on a show'
Dai looked at the curious reporters and said cooly "As you must all know...the two people standing before you are the head product inspectors for the two main distribution branches of Feilan Fashion"
'Shaa' cameras flashed everywhere.
The two product inspectors glanced at each other 'Today they had been summoned to HQ to attend the conference...Though they were both startled....they tried to remain calm....it was easier for the male product inspector..but the same couldn't be said for the lady...she was nervous
'They tried to hold onto the fact that there was no proof....'
Dai smiled seeing them give each other reassuring nods.
"Hmph...." Dai scoffed internally.
Let these idiots keep thinking they were leaving here unscathed.
Dai faced the reporters and became even more serious as he said "Like I said...today you will all receive answers but inorder to fully understand the root cause of Feilan Fashion's dilemma....
"There is one more thing we must unveil to everyone present here and watching live"
Everyone held their breathes with all cameras on Dai but never in their wildest days would they have anticipated what Dai said next.
"Our CEO Miss Shao Feilan is the ex-fiancee of the first son of the Shei family...that's none other than Suzen Shei"
There was short moment of silence and absorption....then all eyes widened..gasps of shock filled the hall and finally an outpour of questions flooded the place.
Everyone whether present physically or online was stunned beyond belief.
Feilan who was standing at the corner found her lips curling into a cunning smirk.
No on had expected this news.
She had told Dai to expose this and she alone knew why.
There was no way in hell that she would spare that bastard Suzen. Feilan knew that Suzen's seat as chairman was unstable...Elder Shei could still withdraw the seat back.
But Feilan also now knew that she was partly the reason Suzen had got the seat of acting chairman. Feilan didn't know exactly why Elder Shei approved of her but Feilan knew this was her point of leverage too.
By announcing that she and Suzen had broken up...she was giving Elder Shei a reason to dismiss Suzen from his duties.
And Feilan had personally made a phone call to Elder Shei today and informed him to watch the news.
The dear elder didn't know why but since it was Feilan asking...he agreed.
Feilan did this so that she could properly expose Suzen before Elder Shei and also give the rather kind old man a reason for her breaking up with his bastard of a grandson before Suzen tried to cover up his tracks or actions.
Feilan knew this was probably going to cause some trouble for Suzen once the old man heard everything.
He was probably watching now and indeed....in an unknown location....a 70 something year old man with a domineering presence sat still in his luxury living room as he watched the news.
His eyes became a bit dark as he heard what was announced...even frowning a little.
But he remained calm and watched in silence.
Outside Feilan Fashion's building....Suzen had been blocked outside the building and he wasn't allowed to enter...whether from the main gates or the private entrance.
Suzen was furious....that slut of a woman was blocking him...from entering her premises. Suzen was pissed cause unlike what he expected...these security guards at the gate didn't budge despite him announcing his identity.
When had that Feilan become so bold as to dare act so arrogant before him.
Suzen just angrily got his tablet and decided to watch the live broadcast of the press conference.
But what he heard Dai Jiro suddenly say about Feilan being his ex-fiancee made him freeze on spot completely stunned.
Never in his life did he think that the crazy girl who loved him like crazy would publicly announce this.
She actually dared....was it intentional.
Suzen narrowed his blazing eyes as his mind panicked lightly.
