She didn't suspect this earlier because Isadora was the one sent to dress her up, little did she know it was for some kind of special occasion with someone she disliked from the bottom of her heart.
These people seem to know her weak point here, they've known Isadora was the only way to get to her and that's why they are using her to trick Nicki into getting what they wanted from her. Well, that was over now, because from today, Nicki wasn't going to be any kind of puppet to anyone. She refuses to be manipulated.
