"Arghhh, Arghhh, ARGHHH." The pain was everywhere, he was itchy all over but it's like it was under his skin. Like millions of fire ants had crawled into his body and kept biting him over and over again. "Khione, could you please leave now I would not want you to get caught in the loop." Doctor H said. "I will be taking my leave now, alert me when it is over doctor. I really hope you make it through Khan I would love to see what you become later on." She said this as she turned on her heels and walked out. When the door was closed behind her Doctor H looked at Khan on the floor his eyes glowing an off white. "Khan I'm sorry but you will go through worse in this facility. If you can speak do so now if not, I would have to kill you immediately because you cannot handle the program if you can't handle this level of pain." Upon hearing this Khan responded saying through gritted teeth, "This…is…nothing. I've…gone…through…WORSE." Upon hearing this Doctor H smiled. "Well as much as I would love to continue our little chit-chat, I am going to loop you with this pain for a week. You will have to endure it while performing an exercise. At night you will not be allowed to sleep, the pain will not subside, you will not be allowed off the treadmill, for this week your state of equilibrium will be the treadmill, the speed will be changed at random times to ensure you remain awake. This is all to see whether or not you have the ability to finish the 3 years required here. Is everything I said understood?" Upon hearing this Khan came to realisation, as much as he wanted to gain abilities, he was going to have to go through hell to get them. "Like…I…said. …is…that…it" Khan said. Doctor H smiled showing his pearly white teeth "I knew I was going to like you boy."
On the first day Khan was hooked on to one of the treadmills he saw the others on. But he was not in the same room as the others. He was left in the doctor's office alone with his thoughts. Then the treadmill started and the pain level shot up instantly Khan felt like he was swimming through boiling water. On and on he ran, he couldn't eat, if he wanted to pee he was allowed to piss himself and there was more pain involved. If he wanted to take a shit, he could not go to the bathroom so he did that in his pants as well. Taking a shit felt like a tree branch was pushing out of him with thorns and nails sticking out of it. He wasn't allowed to drink water or eat during the day. His run started at 1am after enduring a night of this same million ant pain. His sweat touching his body felt more like molten lava running down his, well, everywhere. The pain came in waves on and on and on. When Khan thought the pain was subsiding it would hit him again. At around 12am the next day Doctor H walked in "Goddamn it, boy what do you eat?" The doctor said looking at Khan with utter disgust and his nose scrunched up. After regaining his composure, he spoke again. "Ok Khan you have done well time is up." Khan looked up from the treadmill, he was a huge mess. There was dried phlegm hanging from his nose till his chin, his eyes were bloodshot and he had lost so much weight he was a running stick. It seemed like his shorts had taken all the weight he lost in a messy concoction, there was blood on his pants possibly from his excrements, he had turned very pale and his eyes were sunken into his head. "Is…that…it…one…week?" Khan said through pants. "As you I told you I control time and space of up to 24 hours. So, the loop I put you in, made each day pass in every 3.4 hours in here. By the way, when I turn off the loop all of this week's burden will fall on you immediately so I advise you take a shi-seat I meant seat we all know I meant seat." His eyes had been glowing the whole time meaning his ability was active for a whole week and he wasn't even breathing hard. "Q..Q…q…Quick…Question?" Khan said trying to get it out because he was still running on the treadmill. "Turn it off" Doctor H said seemingly into a microphone on his lab coat. The treadmill started slowing down little by little till it came to a slow and creaking halt. Even the treadmill was a mess, but even more of a mess was Khan, he was still bearing the pain of the fluid injected into him but it seems like he had grown to ignore it. The only thing affecting him now was hunger, thirst and hygiene. Hygiene was key because now he was a living Fleming petri dish, his skin had lost its dark olive shine and instead just covered in grime and sweat. "Khan I'm going to need you to get off slowly, don't try and rush just, little by little, okay?" The doctor said in a very calming tone. Khan got off and felt like the world was moving too slow for him until he realised, he was falling. Yet again the doctor's eyes were glowing. Khan now understood why the world was slow, he was still in loop. Khan caught himself and crawled to the door. "You get out that door now you won't get up for 2 weeks. Take your time calm down and let me make some calls." H said this as he started dialling on his phone. "Yeah, hello, H here we need fumigation, cleanup and forensics here. Cleanup level 9…. Yeah, its bad. Alright thanks." Right when he hung up the door opens the clean up crew gets to work scraping and cleaning. In 30 seconds they are done, of course with a little help from Doctor H. They had also given Khan a bath a new set of clothes and the office was cleared and refurbished in seconds. "All right thanks guys later." H said to the team. "Alright Khan are you ready?" Khan nods not being able to speak as the pain is now like being shocked by electric eels. "Ok now when I release your loop the toxin should dissipate immediately because your liver should be able to flush it out in an instant. However, your muscles will need time to heal because of the work you have put them through. The healing will take about 3 days. I am going to release it in 3…2…1." H's eyes stopped glowing and instantly Khan felt like he had been hit by an atomic bomb. His legs were rubbery his joints were creaking thankfully the clean-up crew put him on the gurney before they left because he was knocked out.
