Scarlet was in front of a class today. She quickly solved her problems and then started a lecture on mathematical forms for solving polynomials and series algebraically. There were a few solutions to this, however growing up in the age of computers, having a program recursively manipulate variables until it found a solution worked for her. Most of it was with quadratics however she who worked with many systems often generated numerical solutions from cubic formulas. Her algebraic method used a remembered formula, often using software to produce solutions for a given stress or fracture form.
