Between the restrictive magic on her safety jars, and the defensive magic cast, life and limb were spared. Desperate to do anything she blindly tossed the bottle at the person. Had the item hit the ground a portion of its energy would have been absorbed by the ring. When sliced with a wooden sword so the military student could look good for the girls, things were less than ideal.
Elizabeth who was further away was slammed into the ground, bruised but unharmed. The student was intact; however his entire body was singed his hair turned to charcoal. His quilted garments were entirely absent sans a strategically placed swath of cloth, showing shinny and burned skin with some dark flecks.
